Rupert Grint and his film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has two nominations for the 2010 People’s Choice Awards. The film has been nominated for Favorite Movie and Rupert along with co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson have been nominated for Favorite On Screen Team for their roles in the sixth film.
There are many categories for favorite film, actor, independent movie etc… so this is your chance to insert Rupert’s name and Cherrybomb anywhere you can so we can get him a fair amount of votes! You don’t have to register but if you do take the time to do so then you are automatically entered for a chance to attend the award ceremony.

All of Rupert Grint’s films coming out 2009 (Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, Cherrybomb and Wild Target) are submitted. Don’t hesitate and pick one of the movies you are longing for the most! Annual polls and awards
Some very important accolades are awarded on the basis of public/popular vote. These include the UK National Movie Awards (NMA), Empire Awards, SyFy Awards, even some categories at BAFTA’s (British equivalent to Academy Awards). Unfortunately, no Rupert movie has been released in 2008, so it is unlikely that he will be nominated for anything in the upcoming awards season. However, we will keep you updated if something worth our attention pops up!
For example, each year Entertainment Weekly’s Popwatch Blog invites people to vote for their “Entertainers of the Year” list. Last year (as you can see in the comments box on the linked page) some eager Rupert fans stuffed EW with requests to see Rupert on the list. However, as the rules of the competition clearly state, it is not only important to tell them who you like, but also to give them good reasons why that person should be named the Enterntainer of the Year! Therefore, this year let’s do it right.
Last year Popwatch Blog posted their invitation for people to submit their votes in October; we’ll be monitoring them, and as soon as this year’s competition is launched, we’ll let you know!
