Ice Cream Man is an unofficial - though very professional and extremely good looking! - fansite, dedicated to the gorgeous and talented Rupert Grint. Alas, we are in no way affiliated with Rupert, his family or representatives. (*sob*) The site is ad-free and non-profit. All media is the property of their respective owners - no copyright infringement intended.
March 8th, 2013, 12:43am–Two things that came out in the past few hours featuring Rupert Grint‘s latest work. First off is an exclusive clip that MTV obtained from Into The White that will be released in the US in April, but is currently available to rent on iTunes for $9.99. The clip is quite spoilery, so I suggest that if you don’t want to know any major plot points of the movie do not watch this clip! But for those who do not care, the clip is fantastic and shows just how great the movie is. You can view the clip here.
You may also remember that Rupert narrated the documentary “We Are Aliens” which is currently playing in many areas. The official website for the movie has all the clips up and you can go to their site here to watch. At the bottom of the page is a link to download all the clips. Enjoy!
Last, but not least, Rupert’s Super Clyde co-star Justine Lupe tweeted earlier today that they are beginning to film the pilot for the show! Let’s hope that CBS picks this up for the fall! (If you’re wondering, we should know no later than May on whether CBS picks up the show.)
UPDATE: You can now see another new clip from Into the White, courtesy of Movieweb.com right HERE which features Rupert in an intense confrontation with David Kross. They have also made a featurette where the film is reviewed – check that out below and remember to watch this “profound and powerful tale” in theatres, on iTunes or even on DVD:
UPDATE #2: And the clips just keep pouring in. In this new clip we get to see a very provocative Smith using the bathroom, Norwegian style:
December 31st, 2012, 4:22pm—In a few short hours, many of us will finally be celebrating 2013. However, the year 2012 for Rupert Grint and his fans has been a fantastic one. First came the premiere of Into The White in which Rupert played Gunner Robert Smith to much praise in the Norwegian press. The film is currently out on DVD in many countries. In the UK it is known as Cross of Honour, and for those with a blu-ray player you’ll be able to see the film without any region restrictions on it. He also took on the role of Carl in The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman opposite Shia LaBeouf which will premiere in January at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival. He also signed on to play in the Beach Boys drummer Brian Wilson biopic The Dummer as Stan Shapiro opposite Aaron Eckhart and Chloe Grace Moretz. He also recently completed the film CBGB – the famous punk nigh club in New York City – as The Dead Boys guitarist Cheetah Chrome. He plays opposite his former Harry Potter co-star Alan Rickman. Rupert also voiced a documentary called We Are Aliens as well as voicing his first cartoon character in American on American Dad as Liam. And one of the most exciting things for Rupert was carrying the Olympic torch for the 2012 summer games.
Rupert’s 2013 should be just as exciting. As stated above, TNDCC will premiere in 2013, but CBGB is also slated to open in the US this coming year. He should start filming The Drummer in the coming year as well. Rupert may also play Rosse in a film adaption of Macbeth which will be called Enemy of Man. Rupert’s long awaited movie animation debut, Postman Pat: You Know You’re The One will be out by the end of the coming year. And I’m sure there will be many other projects to look forward to!
Ice Cream Man had a stellar 2012 as well. We were able to get many exclusives when Into The White premiered in Norway this year. We also were lucky enough to have an exclusive phone interview with Rupert. We also were the only fansite lucky enough to have an interview with Rupert when he carried the Olympic touch. And a few days ago we launched our exclusives site thanks to the hard work of dedicated staffers Karo and Kathy. And we continue to work to bring you the best possible website.
We are sure that 2013 will be just as exciting when TNDCC and CBGB are premiered this year. As always, we plan to bring you the best exclusives possible. Our website will always feature the latest and most up-to-date gallery and we hope to have a relaunch of the media site as well as a new forum.
But most of all, we hope that you guys had an awesome 2012 and an even better 2013. We also would like to wish Rupert and his family a Happy New Year!
December 28, 2012, 8:06am– We told you about Rupert Grint narrating the full dome show We Are Aliens back in October. Now we finally have a small audio clip of the narration to share with you. Although the clip is only about a minute long, we get a good idea of Rupert‘s amazing ability to draw the audience in with just the sound of his voice.
Take a listen to the clip below:
The year is slowly coming to an end and 2012 has been pretty spectacular for Rupert and for this site. We are currently working behind the scenes to make this site the very best and we can’t wait to show everyone what we are working on.
October 13, 2012, 11:13am– Rupert Grint will be narrating the fulldome show We Are Aliens which is an amazing 3D experience. The show is meant to give the spectator an understanding of “how life on Earth guides the hunt for alien life elsewhere in the Universe.”
The show runs for approximately 25 minutes and will launch publicly at The National Space Centre from October 20th 2012 and thereafter shown across the UK.
The creators of the show had some lovely words about Rupert’s involvement which they posted along with a picture of Max, Paul and Rupert holding a 3.0:
Yes, Mr Rupert Grint is the narrator of We Are Aliens! Deep in the heart of London Max, Paul and one of our 3.0s met Rupert to record the soundtrack to our new Fulldome show that asks, are we alone in the Universe?
Rupert’s young and charming tone is perfect for the show and we’re very excited that he’s been involved.
