June 17, 2010, 3:39 pm– More news from the opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Our own AJ was at a press conference this morning where she managed to ask Rupert Grint two questions! He was at a press conference with Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton. Here’s what she has to say:

My first question was regarding his favorite part of the WW. He responded that he liked the pubs.

Second question, I told him that the FANS at Rupert-grint.us wanted to
know if he was excited that his film Wild Target was coming out in the UK
on Friday.

He didn’t know (it was so funny), it was a surprise to him that his movie
was coming out. He said he thought it was today (I said, noooo, tomorrow.)
Dan said something to the effect of them being so busy, that they loose
track of days.

AJ goes on to tell us that she then went on to a press conference with James and Oliver Phelps, Bonnie Wright, Matthew Lewis, and Warwick Davis where she got to include more questions and comments. She even enjoyed some butterbeer! She tells us that she has some great pictures and videos, so keep checking the site!

There is also a really EPIC video that shows the cast on stage officially opening the park. There is some magic, some light, and a lot of fanfare. You can check it out here.

Finally, MTV caught up with Rupert at the opening and has a brief interview with him which includes feelings on filming the last scene for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows which you can see here.

July 13, 2009 at 12:35 PM– Rupert Grint and his Harry Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe were both interviewed on the Today Show during the Half Blood Prince premiere weekend in New York. ICM was lucky to steal a few moments alone with Dan before he went in for his interview and we received some amazing feedback on what he thought of Rupert’s performance and future after Harry Potter ends. Tom Felton fans will be happy to know Dan gave him a bit of praise too!

“He is amazing,” Dan said… This film belongs to Rupert Grint and Tom Felton.”

We decided to tell Dan about Rupert’s comments on being uncertain how it would pan out for him after HP and he said that what Rupert said is rubbish! (Really Dan?! ) He said that Rupert was talking without thinking! Funny!! (Thanks Dan!) He then said that Rupert wants to keep acting. We have part of it on our youtube here. Warwick Davis who plays Filius Flitwick in Harry Potter also answered the same question saying that Rupert had absolutely nothing to worry about and that he would receive many many good scripts during his career because he is the natural talent people look for.  We uploaded it on our channel here.

We also spoke to Rupert and asked about Wild Target and discovered that, just like Cherrybomb, there was already interest in casting him for the role. Rupert said that he did see the original and the the remake is quite similar. I also teased him a bit and said that we heard he spoke French in the movie. He was going to answer me before I told him we were just kidding.  We have some of it on film via our youtube channel here. ICM also had the opportunity to view Half Blood Prince at the World Premiere and we will put up our review on the 15th. Until then I can say that it really was a great film and Rupert/Ron fans will be pleased. As Dan said and as the reviews show us, it was his film!

UPDATE: MTV Movies Blog’s Eric Ditzian has asked HP actors to name their favourite potion. Turns out that Dan, Rupert, Freddie and Tom all prefer Felix Felicis! However, David Yates voted for the love potion, and said that the funny love potion scene in Half-Blood Prince is his favorite of the entire film:

“Rupert Grint playing Ron Weasley turns up, finds a box of chocolates, thinks, ‘I’ll eat those,’ and they’re stuffed full of love potion. And he becomes the most tactical human being in the world. He falls in love with everything and everybody, if it’s moving or not moving. And there’s a lovely moment where he sort of hugs Jim Broadbent [Horace Slughorn] in a really romantic way, which was really charming.”

May 11, 2009, 2:32 PM–Rupert Grint and with his Harry Potter co-stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) are now on location shooting scenes for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 at Pembrokeshire National Park in Wales! One of the scenes shot is of Rupert in a beard and wig being transformed by polyjuice before going into Gringotts! Thanks to Oclumencia you can view the latest Ron set photos in our gallery here! Other scenes being filmed include  Helena Bonham-Carter (Bellatrix), Warwick Davis (Griphook) and Toby Jones (Dobby); many of these images can be found at our lovely affiliate site Oclumencia. We will keep you updated on any new photos that surface of Rupert on set!
