November 21st, 2011, 1:24 PM– Earlier today, Rupert Grint‘s Harry-Potter co-star Warwick Davis tweeted a picture of Rupert holding a t-shirt designed by Warwick himself on behalf on Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Additionally, Rupert supports this year’s Little Star Award, in support of Cancer Research UK, joining Leona Lewis among others.
Rupert said

“Supporting Cancer Research UK’s Little Star Awards is a privilege,” said Rupert Grint. “The awards are a fantastic way of recognizing the bravery and courage of all children and their families who have been affected by cancer. Each and every child is a hero. I’m proud to be able to play a part in raising awareness of the awards and I think that it’s wonderful that Cancer Research UK is helping to bring a little bit of magic to the children’s lives in this way.”

In addition to the interview we posted about this weekend, MSN have published another clip in which Rupert Grint talks about being back at Leavesden Studios and how he stole the housenumber of Privet Drive. He also discussed his role in Postman Pat and music.

October 20th, 2011, 8:42am–Yesterday Rupert Grint was on interview with his Harry Potter costars Tom Felton, The Phelps, Bonnie Wright and Warwick Davis at BBC Radio 1 hosted by Matt Edmondson. During that 20min show called “The One With a Hogwarts Job Centre“, they have been sugggested job they would have loved to do and asked questions to each others.

June 30, 2010, 11:36 pm– Good Evening! The Lego Harry Potter game was released today, along with a few new scenes from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows featuring Rupert Grint. The new teaser looks quite a bit like the MTV Trailer which can be found here, however, there are a couple of new things worth noting. The only new scene with Rupert is a short flash of Ron peering around the corner after the Trio escapes the wedding and makes their way through Muggle London. There is also a new bit featuring Emma Watson as Hermione and Daniel Radcliffe as Harry in the infamous graveyard scene on Christmas day. In addition to this, we also get a glimpse of Warwick Davis as Griphook looking quite foreboding indeed.

June 28, 2010, 7:09 PM– The long anticipated trailer for Rupert Grint’s film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows trailer is now online. The trailer which features scenes from both Part I and Part II showcasing Rupert’s character Ronald Weasley can be seen at the Official Harry Potter site here! This new trailer starts off showing Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) walking through the forest to face Voldemort (Ralph Feinnes). Then, it goes on to a quick shot of the trio (with Hermione under Polyjuice) and Griphook (Warwick Davis) flying either to or from Gringotts. There’s an infinitesimal shot of Harry and Hagrid on the motorbike, and then we see Rupert Grint (as Ron) and Emma Watson (as Hermione) at the beach after Malfoy Manor.  There are some quick images of Hermione walking alone down a street and Harry still in his wedding clothes. After a shot of Hogwarts surrounded by a ring of fire,  a menacing man approaching the Hogwarts Express, another focus on Harry in the forest, the Wandmaker Gregorovitch (Rade Serbedzija), we see a clearer picture of the scene where Ron is splinched. The Antipodean Opaleye makes an appearance followed by a heartening image of Ron facing down the locket. All the Deatheaters gather in a ridiculously evil-looking formation before the trailer shows us Ron and Hermione holding onto each other as they fight valiantly at Hogwarts. There’s a quick glimpse of a Deatheater in the sky, Ron running away in his wedding clothes, and then Bellatrix (Helena Bonham Carter) before we see Harry running for his life. Your heart might stop a little at the image of Voldemort gripping Harry’s face tightly, only to be hit with a rush of adrenaline as the next image shows us a massive uprising of people running toward the fight. But it’s not over yet; flashes of the Trio in London, The Seven Potters, Nagini’s attack on Harry and Hermione assault your senses. Harry pleads with Ron to ‘kill it’ before we see Rupert heroically wielding the Sword of Gryffindor. Then there’s Feindfyre, more threatening Voldemort, Harry and Ginny (Bonnie Wright) locking lips in the heat of battle, the fight in the London cafe, Draco (Tom Felton) fighting for his life, and Hogwarts erupting in fire. Finally, we close on the final clash of Harry and Voldemort, set on a destroyed and war-torn landscape and littered with the dead and injured.

June 17, 2010, 3:39 pm– More news from the opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Our own AJ was at a press conference this morning where she managed to ask Rupert Grint two questions! He was at a press conference with Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton. Here’s what she has to say:

My first question was regarding his favorite part of the WW. He responded that he liked the pubs.

Second question, I told him that the FANS at Rupert-grint.us wanted to
know if he was excited that his film Wild Target was coming out in the UK
on Friday.

He didn’t know (it was so funny), it was a surprise to him that his movie
was coming out. He said he thought it was today (I said, noooo, tomorrow.)
Dan said something to the effect of them being so busy, that they loose
track of days.

AJ goes on to tell us that she then went on to a press conference with James and Oliver Phelps, Bonnie Wright, Matthew Lewis, and Warwick Davis where she got to include more questions and comments. She even enjoyed some butterbeer! She tells us that she has some great pictures and videos, so keep checking the site!

There is also a really EPIC video that shows the cast on stage officially opening the park. There is some magic, some light, and a lot of fanfare. You can check it out here.
