December 30, 2012, 7:49am– Just before the year is drawing to a close, we are happy to introduce to all you Rupert Grint fans our new sub-site: Rupert-Grint.us Exclusives!

2012 has been a great year for Rupert, and once again, we staffers have had amazing experiences, for example at the Into the White World Premiere in Oslo, the Grand Opening of Warner Bros Studio Tour, the Olympic Torch Relay and of course our Phone Interview with Rupert Grint himself.
Travelling to those events is definitely one of the highlights of being a staff member, and therefore we decided to create a special place for what we have brought back.

So finally, after a long time, we have finished moving all our assembled goodies to one place – but not only that! You can also find previously un-published reports, transcripts and, most importantly, videos and audios from interviews and red carpets on our new site (want to hear composer David Holmes gushing over Rupert’s Belfast accent in Cherrybomb?). March 29th, 2012, 10:29AM– At this very moment, Rupert Grint and our Ice Cream Man staff is present at the press conference before the grand opening of the Harry Potter Studio Tour at Leavesden. Our staff will do their very best to keep you all updated throughout the exciting events of this grand opening.

Our staff has just sent a quote from Rupert stating how he feels about being on the tour for the first time:

It was quite moving, because it is such a special place. I grew up here, went to school. It is Great that people will get the same excitment as we had.

Another brilliant quote from a laughing Rupert answering the question: “What would you like to show your future kids on the tour?”

Just walking on set, being here… The brooms are fun… Tom and I took a ride yesterday.

The grand opening itself is on Saturday, which will include a red carpet event. Warner Brothers is offering the opportunity to watch all the action live through their website – you can follow the exciting events as they happen right here. They will be streaming live from 3PM UK time.

Warner Brothers describes the studio tour as a “behind-the-scenes walking tour which immerses guests into the world of film-making, featuring authentic sets, costumes and props, created at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden. The Studio Tour will initially focus on the Harry Potter film series, which has made the Studios its home for over 10 years. This is the ultimate chance to walk around and experience the world of Harry Potter and the place Rupert Grint has called home for over 10 years as Ron Weasley.

March 12th, 2012, 3:45PM– It has been announced earlier today that Warner Bros Studio Tour London at Leavesden would be holding a Grand Opening with cast and crew on 31 March to celebrate – and we have just received confirmation from his reps that Rupert Grint will be attending the event!
The Opening Ceremony will include a Red Carpet event, and if you are a UK resident, you might win tickets through this link. Attendance is only possible with tickets, and a live stream will be on the official website during the event.

If you intend to visit the place where the Harry Potter films were made, you can find all the information and booking options on their official site.

November 21st, 2011, 1:24 PM– Earlier today, Rupert Grint‘s Harry-Potter co-star Warwick Davis tweeted a picture of Rupert holding a t-shirt designed by Warwick himself on behalf on Make-a-Wish Foundation.
The shirt is available for order through ShirtPunch ONLY today.

Additionally, Rupert supports this year’s Little Star Award, in support of Cancer Research UK, joining Leona Lewis among others.
Rupert said

“Supporting Cancer Research UK’s Little Star Awards is a privilege,” said Rupert Grint. “The awards are a fantastic way of recognizing the bravery and courage of all children and their families who have been affected by cancer. Each and every child is a hero. I’m proud to be able to play a part in raising awareness of the awards and I think that it’s wonderful that Cancer Research UK is helping to bring a little bit of magic to the children’s lives in this way.”

In addition to the interview we posted about this weekend, MSN have published another clip in which Rupert Grint talks about being back at Leavesden Studios and how he stole the housenumber of Privet Drive. He also discussed his role in Postman Pat and music.

October 26th, 2011, 4:05AM– With the upcoming DVD release of Rupert Grint‘s film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 next month, a new featurette has been released on Harry Potter – The Quest.

The clip shows Rupert, Emma Watson, David Yates and David Heyman discussing the developements of the relation ship between Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger throughout the films.
Emma Watson also remarks:

“It was good. He’s a nice kisser.”
