August 5, 2010, 5:55 P.M.–As we all know, Oasis is one of Rupert Grint’s favorite bands. Therefore, we are excited to know that Rupert had taken the time out to discuss his favorite songs from the band with UK music publication Q Magazine!

Live Forever: This is probably my favorite track– I love the drum beat in the intro. It’s always been one that I listen to alot because it’s got that real anthemic theme about it. I could never get bored of this song. “

In other news, Total Film Magazine has released an article featuring Rupert, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and David Heyman regarding the upcoming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I and Part II. In this article, Rupert had to say:

It’s all got kinda grown up, says Rupert Grint, aka Ron Weasley…The first part is mostly set  out of Hogwarts–we’re camping and living rough and there’s a lot of paranoia and anger, particularly from Ron.  In the other films there’s kind of a routine–you’re on the train, then you get to the school…this feels like a very different Harry Potter!”

Also, if you have not already done so, it’s not too late to participate in donating to the RNLI for Rupert’s 22nd birthday. December 24th, 2009, 10:21AM–As many of you know, we were the first bring you scans from the latest  issue of Total Film Magazine which featured a photoshoot with Rupert Grint as Napoleon Dynamite as part of their celebration of  the last decade in film. Now Total Film.com  (click it, he’s on the main page too!!!) has placed the picture on their website which can been seen here. Although it’s not exactly Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, it’s also interesting to note that two of the actresses that participated in the photoshoot have ties to Rupert. First, there’s  Kaya Scodelario, who (as we reported previously) will pose alongside Rupert for a special BAFTA portfolio photoshoot for  In-Style Magazine along with Jamie Campbell Bower, and Tamsin Egerton, who portrayed Rupert’s second (if we count Hermione) on-screen crush as Sarah in Driving Lessons.

December 14th, 2009, 1:58PM–We just reported Rupert Grint is due to be featured in the next issue of  Total Film magazine where he is taking part in a special photo-shoot celebrating the last decade of the film industry. Many actors that took part were asked to recreate their favorite scene from their favorite film and Rupert chose Napoleon Dynamite! We now have an exclusive first look of Rupert all decked out in his Dynamite gear. He looks simply amazing! View the scan in our gallery here! The magazine hits news-stands this Thursday but we figured why make you wait right?  Rupert is getting a head start on promoting himself as we have another treat coming in January with the In-Style photo-shoot too! It looks like there will be a lot of great things to look forward to in the coming months and year.

Reminder: For those of you who are wondering, it seems like Rupert cannot make it to this year’s Great Ormond Street Hospital Christmas Charity due to his filming committments.
According to this article, Rupert is said to start filming Eddie the Eagle around this time next year, but keep in mind that there is still no official confirmation about signed contracts!

December 13, 2009, 9:05 PM– The Sun just released some new information online that Rupert Grint will be featured in an upcoming issue of Total Film magazine dressed as film character Napoleon Dynamite! We all know Rupert loves Napoleon so this should be quite hysterical. We’re checking with Rupert’s reps for confirmation right now! We will update you shortly. Edit: Rupert is confirmed to be featured in this magazine. It will be out next week right before Christmas so we will be sure to have the interview and scans available for you as soon as it hits news-stands.

We also found out that it will celebrate the last decade of the film industry. Many actors that took part were asked to recreate their favorite scene from their favorite film. Rupert chose Napoleon Dynamite as his favorite film over the past ten years.

Rupert’s reason to choose Napoleon, he said:

“I was obsessed when it came out. I had the T-shirt and everything.”

Reminder: We have a new Cherrybomb video project underway so look here and get involved to help bring Cherrybomb to your hometown! Rupert’s Army has worked so incredibly hard already and the momentum needs to keep going! If making a video is not an option but you would still like to help, great! You can still help by finding at least one fan in your area that would be willing to send in a video to represent you and your country! However, it’s not just videos we need. You can send a photo of yourself or your friends and family holding a sign saying you want Cherrybomb or at the least send in a message and we will feature that in the video instead. There are many ways to show your support for this project but what’s important is that we get the material! Every little bit counts and will help! June 20 2009, 12:16PM– Total Film Magazine has compiled a slide show of what should not have been cut from the Harry Potter films, and Rupert Grint’s turn at playing Quidditch in Order of the Phoenix is listed among them! As stated by the magazine’s website, “Quidditch was a casualty in Order Of The Phoenix. An entire comedy subplot about Ron becoming the unlikely Keeper in the Gryffindor Quidditch team was completely excised, to the disappointment of Rupert Grint, who’d been looking forward to some broom action.”

Sure we have King Weasley in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, but just image how it would have been to have had two movies full of Ron in his quidditch robes!
