February 1, 2013, 5:37pm– Artist Bob Dob has just posted a photo of Rupert Grint in his L.A. studio with the caption: “My latest collector . Pretty cool. #rupertgrint #harrypotter”
Check out the picture below and notice Rupert‘s new and very handsome haircut:
You can also look at some of Bob Dob‘s amazing artworks on his site here – on the site we also find a description from the artist himself of his art, and the description fits Rupert perfectly:
I love to create worlds where the dark side of human nature is present. Life isn’t always good times. While in our youth we experience many things we would rather forget, but this is what makes us who we are. It defines us. That’s why my characters have an adolescent quality to them. I’ve been very fortunate in experiencing and hearing many great stories, which now find there way into my paintings. I guess the best way to describe my profession is I’m a visual storyteller.
In case you missed the update on our previous post, we now have the very first poster for Rupert‘s latest film The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman in our gallery – just a clicky click away.
UPDATE: Rupert and former Harry Potter co-star Tom Felton has been spotted in Disneyland and they were sweet enough to pose for pictures with lucky fans. Thanks to Jenna, we can now share one of those lovely pictures with you. She wrote us that the boys were delightful, which comes as no surprise to us. We still do not know why Rupert is in California, if it is just a vacation or for work, but he looks happy and healthy so we are just happy that he’s having a great time.
January 30, 2013, 6:27pm– Rupert Grint gets a lot of praise by director Fredrik Bond and co-star James Buckley in a new interview done by collider.com done during the Sundance Film Festival.
Bond: When everybody started working it was like being creative people, all the ‘celebrity’ part of it disappears out the window, it’s about here and now and what we’re working completely. And you know the whole cast that we had was exactly like that. Shia didn’t come with an assistant, Evan didn’t come with an assistant, it was just about the work. It was just getting it, and Mads Mikkelsen the same thing.
Buckley: And Rupert the same thing.
Bond: Rupert as well.
Buckley: I keep forgetting that he’s a mega, mega star.
Bond: Me too!
Buckley: It’s so easy to just forget that. Cause you just talk to him and he’s just so nice and so fun to be around, like you go for a beer with him afterwards and stuff and he’s just again, he’s just a bloke. And then you forget that his films have just smashed every record that exists and that everyone on the planet knows who he is. It was really lucky, it was so great that everyone was on the same page and wanted the same thing.
You can read the rest of the interview in our Press Archives here. It’s a lovely interview and we get a great insight into the filming of The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman.
The International Premiere of The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman at Berlinale is just over a week away and it looks to be a great event with Rupert, Shia LaBeouf, Evan Rachel Wood, Til Schweiger and Fredrik Bond all attending the premiere. Read all the details here.

January 27, 2013, 9:21am– We are happy to introduce a new feature on our site, our Rupert Grint Timeline!
Only a few weeks ago, we have opened our new Exclusives Site, but we stayed busy and have finished the next project:
On our Timeline, you will find all the important dates of Rupert’s professional life: filming dates, premieres, film confirmations, promotion days, photoshoots, charity events and award ceremonies. We have covered no less than 300 events altogether so far, and we will continue to update as we go along.

Click HERE to get straight to our Timeline. Scroll back and forth on the Timeline so view the events and click on the events for further information; or use the years to view the Timeline in lists.
We have also updated the Quotes section and the ‘Grint Tale’ on the Biography page as well as the Filmography with details on The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman.
And for those wondering, we have asked about the “project” mentioned in the recent article from USA Today, but Rupert’s reps couldn’t say anything yet. Fingers crossed!
