June 1, 2009, 3:58 PM–HarryPotter-es has posted a new video that aired on Spain’s network Antena3. The video shows some of the dubbing work for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and contains some new scenes including Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson) talking about Draco (Tom Felton). (Spoiler: It’s a scene when Harry is trying to convince Ron and Hermione that Draco is a Death Eater, but they don’t believe him.)
You may view it on Youtube here: the quality isn’t great, but will do!
Also, our friends at Canon-Love have scans from the June issue of the Italian magazine Ciak, which has a feature on both Half-Blood Prince and The Deathly Hallows. Unfortunately there are no new images, and they only have an old quote of Rupert (when he says that it will be weird when the DH wraps, but the cast will be free to do something else). Still you may want to view the Rupert-related scans in our gallery here.
Update: Half Blood Prince hasn’t been released yet? What reason could you possibly have for going to the movies? Well, how about life sized promotional cut outs of Rupert Grint as Ron in his Quidditch gear, Daniel Radcliffe as Harry and Emma Watson as Hermione! In a pic that can be seen here courtesy of Snitchseeker, a lucky fan took a picture with the lovely trio. If you go to the movies this week and you see Ron, take a picture and send it in!
May 27, 2009, 10:12–The new Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Poster Book includes a new interview with Rupert Grint promoting the movie. You can view these scans in our gallery here. Many of the topics touched include a stats sheet, questions about life being known as Ron Weasley, the Harry Potter films in general, his favorite Harry Potter novel, and much much more! And it may just put an end to that pesky question… what color are his eyes?! A great many thanks to Snitch Seeker for letting us know. You can also see interviews from Rupert’s fellow cast mates here.

May 27, 2009, 7:50 AM– First, we saw Rupert Grint wearing his leather jacket in Empire Magazine, and now word is out that he is friends with none other than Shaft himself, Samuel L. Jackson! The Press Association is reporting that Samuel L. Jackson will host a charity event in London on June 11th and has invited some of his celebrity friends, including our very own Rupert Grint. The event, being thrown to raise money for The Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, will include a luxury ball at the Hurlingham Club and day full of Rupert’s favorite past time, golfing, at the London Golf Club.
There is no confirmation yet as to whether Rupert can accept this invitation or not since he is busy shooting Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but we will be sure to get that information to you as soon as possible.
Update: TLC has reported that a new Half Blood Prince video game trailer has been released by EA and can be seen via IGN. In this trailer, you can see lovely visuals of the grounds of Hogwarts and Ron weilding his wand!!! Enjoy!

May 22, 2009, 5:22 PM–Here’s a special treat for all Harry Potter fans who love to be spoiled: the Youtube user called Bexybat has posted several new video clips of Rupert Grint and his co-stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Domhnall Gleeson and Evanna Lynch, taken while they were filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in Pembrokeshire, Wales! Some of the clips show the cast and crew filming the actual scenes, while other clips show Rupert and his pals having fun on the beach! View them all on Bexybat‘s channel here, and don’t forget to leave your comments (and do mention our Cherrybomb campaign too!)
Thanks Zoz and Lilly for the heads-up!
Speaking of our Cherrybomb Campaign, we are currently bugging Entertainment Weekly to feature Cherrybomb, and we also using Twitter to promote the film! Read all about it here and get involved!
Btw I’ve just counted, and so far we have collected 4140 signatures on all six petitions! Again, many many thanks to all websites and individuals who are participating in this campaign — you guys rock! We are doing this for Rupert and for the entire fandom, and we can’t stop until Cherrybomb is finally released!
UPDATE: Many thanks to WB Senior Publicist for sending over the HQ version of the recently released HBP poster (yeah, the heavily photoshopped one). View it in our gallery here.

May 20, 2009, 5:18 AM–Since there are no major Rupert Grint news this morning, allow us to mention here a few recent stories, all of them more-or-less Rupert related.
Cherrybomb: The team behind Rupert’s latest completed film, including the directors Lisa Barros D’Sa and Glenn Leyburn, and the composer David Holmes, is currently involved with a new project Good Vibrations, documenting the life of Terri Hooley (who masterminded the Northern Irish punk revolution). This article describes Cherrybomb as “the ‘sold out, stand out’ local production that starred at this year’s Belfast Film Festival” and notes that “The local success of Cherrybomb – starring Rupert Grint, Kimberley Nixon and Robert Sheehan – has this week seen it ‘explode’ at the Cannes Film Festival – as part of the producers’ bid to sign an international distribution deal.” Sheehan and Holmes were also in Cannes last week, as mentioned here. Speaking of Robert Sheehan, he has just landed a role in a new film I Was Bono’s Doppelganger, documenting the early days of Dublin’s legendary band U2. The film is produced by Mark Huffam’s Generator Entertainment (who also produced Cherrybomb), so read more about this project here.
And don’t forget to participate in our Cherrybomb Distribution Campaign — read all about our latest project here.
The Deathly Hallows: First off, CBBC Newsround has a set report from Pembrokeshire — although Rupert is only mentioned, you may want to read the description of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows set here. Also, Emma Watson has updated her official website, to note that they had a great time in Pembrokeshire, and than in two weeks she will be half-done filming her part for the DH! Finally, you may read here about the uniforms that Rupert and his co-stars are wearing in the HP films.
