September 13th, 2009, 10:25 PM–While Rupert Grint is busy filming the final installment of the Harry Potter franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the film website The Movie-Fanatic, took the time to updated the results for their Top 50 Hottest Young Actors poll today. At the present, Rupert ranks number 31 on the poll, and according to the website, stands a good chance at moving up the polls (of course, he will.)
Here’s an excerpt from the update:
Rupert Grint: (current rank: #31) Among Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Grint, I would have to say, Grint appears to me to be the most serious in becoming a truly talented actor. Aside from Harry Potter, Grint played leading roles in two features – Cherrybomb and Wild Target. Grint is apparently attempting to come up with interesting roles, which started in the coming-of-age movie, Driving Lessons where he was terrific playing opposite Julie Walters and Laura Linney.
You can head on over and give your input as to what you think, here!
Also, don’t forget to vote for Rupert for the Scream Awards and the Portrait Top 30 Under 30 Awards!
September 5, 2009, 5:33pm–A seller on Ebay has found a photo of Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets director Chris Columbus when the trio were first introduced to the world as Harry, Ron and Hermione in the Harry Potter franchise. You may see the photo in our gallery here. We are currently unsure that the autograph is real, however the seller has great feedback which gives them credibility. The item is currently going for $49 dollars and has two days left for bidding. You can do so here.
In other news, while the Relly Award voting is currently over you can still vote for Rupert at the 2009 Scream Awards and the Top 30 Under 30 at Portrait Magazine (where Rupert is currently second)! Just click on the links on the right hand sidebar!
