Rupert Grint: Enemy of Man Launch Kickstarter Campaign & Release Promo Trailer!

EnemyOfManIconMarch 7th, 2014, 1:46pm– Last year, Rupert Grint shot a promo teaser trailer for the Enemy of Man movie and we have been waiting a long time for more news about this project. Today, we finally got the BIG announcement that the Enemy of Man team promised us this week.

They have decided to launch a Kickstarter campaign to get funds so that they can reach their target budget and begin principal photography. This movie needs YOUR help and you can pledge a variety of amounts – the campaign needs to reach their target of 250,000 in 29 days. You can read a lot more here where you can also see the rewards you’ll get when you pledge.
Make sure to watch the video where dirctor Vincent Regan introduces the campaign and Rupert tells us why this movie appealed to him in the first place.

If this isn’t enough incentive – check out the proof of concept trailer from the short film they made, Instruments of Darkness, showing Rupert in action as Ross for the first time… seriously, this movie needs to be made!

The Enemy of Man will have a unique cinematic quality, stripping back the dialogue and cranking up the action. It traverses a bleak, frozen landscape of shattered castles and pillaged towns, rendering the interior world that clouds Macbeth and Lady Macbeth’s addled minds, as they sink deeper into their heart of darkness. A timeless masterpiece of war, ambition, betrayal, murder and ultimately, revenge.

UPDATE: We now have screencaps for the teaser trailer here. And the kickstarter campaign video here.
