June 18th, 2010, 1:24 AM-Our webmiss, Tao, as well as staffers Jo and AJ, are currently having a bloody good time at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida! They’ve been there to cover the event for us, and are checking in regularly with the rest of the staff. Earlier today, AJ and Jo were in attendance for the press conference with Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe, Tom Felton, and Michael Gambon! So, we’ve got nearly half an hour of press con goodness for your viewing pleasure on our ICMExclusives YouTube channel. It’s split up in three parts; Part One, Part Two, and Part Three. Be sure to check back in again later on in the days to come, as I’m sure we’ll be getting more cool stuff to share with you, possibly a little something that is extra awesome.

In more news, we all remember that Rupert celebrated with the entire cast and crew on their last day of shooting, by driving his ice cream van to the set and personally delivering some ice cream to everyone. According to MTV.com, Warwick Davis, aka Professor Flitwick, had to take down his tweets about the event because it caused such an uproar in the fandom. Well, of course it did, it’s Rupert and ice cream!!! Speaking of those two things, Rupert explains how being an ice cream man is sometimes a dirty job:

“I drove it down on the last day and served ice cream to everyone,” he said. Apparently it didn’t go precisely as planned, because he ended up being covered in ice cream by the end of the day. “I haven’t quite perfected the technique. It kind of came out in a jet.”

June 15th, 2010, 5:09pm–Several days ago we exclusively revealed that Rupert Grint would be attending the Grand Opening Wizarding World of Harry Potter event. Since then many people have stated that Rupert would not be attending on the 18th. We can once again exclusively reveal that this is untrue as we have received word that he will be attending events all three days.

One event that ICM will be apart of is a press conference that will be during the day on Thursday. Rupert, along with Tom Felton and Michael Gambon will be one of the press conferences that we will attend. There will be several others with various stars including Bonnie Wright and Matthew Lewis. For those wondering, there was nothing on Emma Watson being there for these but we’re not sure of the grand opening event.

June 18th will be a huge event. We’re not sure all the details, but we will let you know them including how close regular park guests can get, etc. However for those who cannot attend, the event will be streamed live here! Also the Today Show will be live on that day interview Rupert and his harry potter co-stars including Daniel Radcliffe and Michael Gambon!

July 26, 2009, 6:28 am—Recently Harry Potter movie producers and directors shared with us what it has been like working with Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson. Well Michael Gambon who plays the headmaster himself Dumbledore, gives his own interview with the Miami Herald of working in the Harry Potter movies and speaks quite fondly of the trio.

Excerpt:

Watching stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint grow up has been especially fun. “They’ve become worldly, wise and strong actors. That’s been nice to see. You can say things to them now that you couldn’t say to them then.”

Like what? “Oh, I don’t know. I dare not say,” Gambon says, chuckling. Should we assume the worst? “Yes,” he answers with a cryptic bit of sass. How terribly Dumbledore.

July 06, 2009, 9:04am–Rupert Grint and his fellow Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince co-stars have been photographed for the promotional photocall for the movie in London, England. We will be collecting medium and high quality pictures as they come out so stay tuned. Meanwhile, you can view our medium quality versions here in our gallery and we will update you as soon as we get more! Among the people with Rupert are his co-stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Tom Felton, Bonnie Wright, Jessie Cave, Michael Gambon and Jim Broadbent! July 03, 2009, 11:42pm–HBO just ran their first airing of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince special on their series First Look. In this we see Rupert Grint talk about the movie and many behind-the-scenes glimpses of him including new quidditch scenes, meeting Slughorn (Jim Broadbent), Lavender Brown (Jessie Cave), and much much more! One moment shown, which I think everyone was looking forward to, is the bit where Ron hugs onto Slughorn while under the effects of love potion! There were also quite a few new scenes shown including many great Ron scenes. As always, Rupert never disappoints with the comedy. The clip also shows various other moments including the bridge being demolished, as well as how they did it, the cave scenes and of course tons of other moments are featured!
