July 9, 2009 at 10:30 AM–Grint alert! I have finally uploaded the first batch of the videos I filmed two days ago in London, at the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I was given the opportunity to exchange a few words (and smiles) with Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe, Jessie Cave, Freddie Stroma, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Matthew Lewis, Tom Felton, Jim Broadbent, Jason Isaacs, Helen McCrory and the producer David Barron. (I also filmed quite a few others, such as Emma Watson, Bonnie Wright, Evanna Lynch, Devon Murray etc. but didn’t have time to talk to them.) I was sharing the red carpet spot (and the umbrella) with Nick from MuggleNet and Mary from Harry Latino, so I’ll be swapping videos with them as well.

Instead of a classical report, I’m going to let the video clips do the talking! So please head over to this page, where you will find links to the videos and my, hopefully colourful, commentaries.

I will be adding more videos throughout the day, so keep checking this page!

In other news, a few weeks ago CNN invited their viewers to ask the Harry Potter trio whatever they want to, and they have just released the video clip with the trio answering the questions! Watch it here.

Rupert Grint: Corpsing, Guy Candy And Bill Nighy!

July 1, 2009, 7:08 AM–I have just added tons of scans to our gallery for your viewing pleasure. First of all, David Yates has contributed a beautiful article to the latest issue of the Total Film magazine. He writes about his work on the Harry Potter series, and mentions Rupert in a very affectionate tone:

There will be so many happy memories of the people I’ve worked with. Rupert Grint‘s corpsing [cracking up during a take] will stay with me for the rest of my life. He is a terrible corpser and he always tries to hide it. I was doing a shot today where he walks towards Emma — he started to go before he was within seven feet of her and then tried to hide behind her so we couldn’t see. It’s so sweet. We’re looking into how to achieve ageing up Dan, Emma and Rupert for the final epilogue in a really interesting way — seeing Dan with a bit of a paunch will be great!

View the scan in our gallery here, and there’s another scan of this feature, previously available online (things that were left out of HP movies).

Next, the UK tabloid “New” has recently run a story about Cherrybomb, and named Rupert the “Guy Candy” — we couldn’t agree more! View that scan here and here’s some Cherrybomb buzz.

You may also take a look at this new photo of Rupert and Emma Watson from a Belgian TV guide “Dag Allemaal” — according to which, there will be a Harry Potter special on Belgian VT4 channel on 1o July at 11:05pm. Rupert and Emma were interviewed by Ann Van Elsen, so if anyone can record this show, please send it to us! And thanks Laura for the scan.

There’s also a new (at least to me) behind-the-scenes shot of the Trio and David Yates (I found it in the Story magazine), so clicky here. I’ve also added gorgeous untagged scans of Rupert’s recent interview with the Mail, with photos by Ian Derry — find them here; and scans from the Tatler magazine, in which the beautiful Jessie Cave talks about her crush on Rupert, can be seen here!

Finally, TLC reports that Rupert’s Wild Target co-star and the talented rapper Bill Nighy has (finally!) joined the HP cast! He will play Rufus Scrimgeour in Deathly Hallows — yay! Thanks Holly for emailing.

UPDATE: Matthew Lewis has also mentioned Rupert in his latest interview with the LA Times. He talked about the great atmosphere on the HP set, and said:

You know when James and Oliver Phelps, who play the Weasley twins, and Rupert, who plays Ron, when they’re in scenes, a lot of the banter that they have as brothers is ad-libbed, and they can do that kind of stuff because they just get along so well.

Thanks Stephanie for the tip!

Daniel Radcliffe Talks Rupert Grint In Empire Magazine Interview.

hpnews1 June 29, 2009, 9:15pm — In a recent interview with Empire magazine, Daniel Radcliffe mentions his friend and Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint in some of his answers. For starters he talks about both his and Rupert’s hair in the Goblet of Fire era, saying that they were told not to cut it over the entire summer!

We can also read a cute  part where Rupert, Daniel and Emma once pretended to be radio presenters in the back of a van, “doing this little comedy show for each other to keep ourselves amused” Daniel said. He also goes on to say that he and Rupert never had a fight because “he’s the most totally laidback person you’ll ever meet. You could probably set fire to him and he wouldn’t really mind.

If you want to read the full interview take a look over here , thanks to Snitchseeker.

Remember we are constantly updating our gallery with the latest Deathly Hallows filming location photos.

Rupert Grint’s Co-Stars Talk Ron And Hermione In Half-Blood Prince!

June 09, 2009, 6:51 AM–As the release date of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince approaches, more magazines are doing HBP related features. The August issue of Sci-Fi Magazine has a huge interview with Daniel Radcliffe, Tom Felton, Matthew Lewis and David Yates. Daniel briefly talks about Rupert Grint‘s character Ron’s love entanglements and says:

“I think we tell the story pretty well. [...] All the main points of the story are there in terms of Ron’s relationship with Lavander and the fighting between him and Hermione which is obviously sexually charged.” Source: Feltbeats.

Also, Emma Watson has recently been featured in Candy mag, and also mentioned working (and talking) with Rupert:

Candy: How tough has it been in this movie starting a romance on-screen with Ron, especially since he’s played by an old friend?
Emma: Oooh! I don’t know if it’s tough. Rupert’s a really laid-back guy but I’m really looking forward to it because I quite like the romantic commedy side of it. Rupert and I end up providing light relief, as the movie gets darker. It’s funny seeing Rupert struggling in the romantic stakes.

Candy: Does working on Harry Potter feel different now that all three of you have done different projects?
Emma: Yes, and it was really nice to come back and talk to Dan and Rupert about the projects they had been working on, and how different it was to work on stage and TV. It’s given us all more confidence as actors, because we were chosen so young for the Potter films.
