June 16th, 2010, 12:47 AM-Wow, news just keeps pouring in today! As the promotion for “Wild Target” picks up the pace, we’ve unearthed a short little interview with Rupert and his Wild Target co-star, Martin Freeman, from the BBC. In it, Rupert talks guns and Mr. Freeman chats about the fake, enormous chompers he has to sport in the movie! You may view it here on our YouTube channel.

There is also a new interview with Rupert and Bill Nighy from Sky News, in which Rupert speaks admirably about Mr. Nighy’s beard-growing capabilities:

“I suppose it looks quite different with the little beard thing. It’s not quite a beard, nearly a beard. It’s not like Bill Nighy’s, he grew that, I was quite impressed.”

Bill Nighy also says that Rupert “is a very smart boy”, in the interview as well. Ahhh, we agree, Bill! There are also two screencaps in the interview as well, which you can view in our gallery here and here. Read the interview here. Thanks Laura for the tip!

If you’ve not been around in the past couple days, webmistress Tao, as well as staffers Jo and AJ, will be covering the grand opening of Harry Potter’s Wizarding World in Florida, which opens tomorrow! So, you might want to grab some caffeine and stick around, because we’ll be sure to bring you as many goodies from the event as possible. June 11th, 2010, 7:16pm–On BBC‘s 5:19 show we finally see some promotion with Rupert Grint, Bill Nighy and Martin Freeman being interviewed about their movie Wild Target. Rupert talks about Emily Blunt having to slap him and was afraid to do it! We also see a small new scene that has to do with this picture here. Unfortunately we cannot hear the dialogue. Bill talks about the plot and Martin Freeman talks about what would help the interviewer look like an evil genius. You can watch it all here! It starts about 20 minutes into the video (the very end). June 2, 2010, 6:38 pm–A new French promotional trailer for the British comedy Wild Target starring Rupert Grint, Bill Nighy and Emily Blunt is now online! Although a lot of the clips are previously seen there are a few that are not! In fact we have a new shot of Rupert Grint from the first promo still of Tony as he is wet and out of the bathtub pointing the gun! Even though it goes by fast it is pretty intense and only makes the wait that much harder for all of us!! We have uploaded the clip for you on you-tube so you can watch that now by clicking the video below!

UPDATE:Sorry almost forgot to mention this earlier. There will be no Wild Target premiere. The actors are simply too busy so there will be little promotion going on but we’ll do our best to get what we can for you guys.

May 28, 2010, 5:40 AM–In the midst of all the news and pictures about the aged Ron in Harry Potter and the Deathy Hallows, we have received the artwork for the Wild Target soundtrack. In this artwork, we see Emily Blunt in the centre surrounded by the rest of the cast including Rupert, Bill Nighly, Martin Freeman and Rupert Everett.

November 27th, 2009, 12:13 PM–While promoting his new film, Nativity, Rupert Grint’s Wild Target co-Star Martin Freeman briefly mentioned Wild Target in an interview with BBC Radio 1′s Newsbeat. While no specific details were given, here’s what he had to say…

Finally, can you tell us a bit more about the movie you filmed with Rupert Grint?

Yes, it’s called Wild Target. We filmed that this time last year. I don’t know about a release date on that.
Rupert Grint’s in it, Emily Blunt, Bill Nighy, Rupert Everett, Eileen Atkins. It’s very good and it’s directed by Jonathan Lynn who was behind things like Yes Minister and Yes, Prime Minister.
I’ve not seen it yet but I had good fun doing it. I hope it’s good.
