July 03, 2009, 11:42pm–HBO just ran their first airing of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince special on their series First Look. In this we see Rupert Grint talk about the movie and many behind-the-scenes glimpses of him including new quidditch scenes, meeting Slughorn (Jim Broadbent), Lavender Brown (Jessie Cave), and much much more! One moment shown, which I think everyone was looking forward to, is the bit where Ron hugs onto Slughorn while under the effects of love potion! There were also quite a few new scenes shown including many great Ron scenes. As always, Rupert never disappoints with the comedy. The clip also shows various other moments including the bridge being demolished, as well as how they did it, the cave scenes and of course tons of other moments are featured! May 5, 2009, 9:33 AM–The release date of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince starring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson is fast approaching, and according to reports, the AMC Theatres have started playing a new HBP preview.

New footage includes scenes with Jim Broadbent, Michael Gambon and Daniel Radcliffe, and — some funny shots of Lavender Brown (Jessie Cave) hitting on Ron (Rupert Grint)! In addition, there are short interviews with David Yates and David Heyman. So if you’re gonna be seeing a film in an AMC theatre soon, make sure not to miss this preview (and hopefully it will be available online soon). Thanks Gustavo with Oclumencia for letting us know.

Also, our friends at Portkey have gotten hold of the recently released HBP posters in amazingly high resolution. I have just added the beautiful poster of Rupert as Ron Weasley (with Fenrir Greyback in the background) to our gallery here. Enjoy!

Update 2: TLFC wishes not to dis-empower the fans from signing the Asian and Australia petitions so we received word that it is OK to sign! ICM is focused on the UK right now so if you have any celebrity sites or news media people to send our way please do so.  January 23, 2009 – 11:27am: As we reported earlier, a new Japanese trailer for “Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince” featuring Rupert Grint is now online via YouTube. You can view it here. Rupert’s co-star Daniel Radcliffe introduces the bit and you can see plenty of new scenes: among them, several scenes with Jim Broadbent as Prof. Slughorn, Michael Gambon as Dumbledore, and the Death Eaters.  Be aware that some of it is dubbed in Japanese, however you will be able to hear most of the dialogue — though unfortunately Rupert has none. While the Rupert scenes are rather limited, we do get to see the action shot of Ron and Harry gripping hands before the quidditch match as well as the party scene in action from another angle. We will hopefully have a downloadable version very shortly as well as our own screencaps. Thanks to The Leaky Cauldron for the tip!
