Rupert Grint Attends Annual F1 Party!

July 4th, 2012, 5:35pm– Tonight Rupert Grint attended the Annual F1 Party which was held to celebrate the official launch of the 2012 Formula 1 British Grand Prix. The party was hosted by Great Ormond Street Hospital and Formula One Management and took place at Battersea Evolution in Battersea Park. Rupert attended the party with his younger brother James, and they both looked handsome on the red carpet.

Not only does this sound like a fun night for Rupert and James, but the party also helped raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital:

This year, the F1™ Party will begin fundraising for the new surgery centre, where some of the world’s most renowned paediatric surgeons will be operating on patients as young as a few hours through to 18 years old.

Check out the first picture of Rupert attending the F1 Party in our gallery here! We will update with more pics as soon as they become available.

New Rupert Grint Daily Mail Outtake!

April 18th, 2012, 4:30pm–In March Rupert Grint and his brother James Grint sat down with The Daily Mail to talk about cars and careers. Today photographer Richard Grassie released an outtake of that portrait session which you can see here. The brothers look great!

A new interview with Ed Sheeran also came out where he talks about people – especially celebrities – thinking that Rupert has a singing career after the “Lego House” video was released. He had this to say: “The funniest thing is seeing known celebrities think Rupert Grint has a music career and he’s changed his name to Ed Sheeran. Not many people know what I look like. I’m not in my videos. I’m happy to be mistaken for him.” You can read the whole interview here.

BTW: Into The White had a great opening weekend in Norway. According to adressa.no 14,000 people found their way into the cinema and with that number ITW was the second-most seen film of the week.

“We are very happy. “Into the White” has been receieved very well. The fact that the
audience found their way into the cinema this weekend assist us in the belief that
this is a film that people want to see.” Ingrid Sølverud (from Scanbox Entertainment).

Have a nice weekend guys and enjoy Rupert’s latest news about his new movie “The Drummer!”

UPDATE: I think you remember that sweet little article in Live magazine about both Rupert and his brother, James and their respectively and very different cars. The photographer from the photoshoot, Richard Grassie was nicer enough to offer a few words about the time he had spent with the Grint brothers.

“Rupert and his brother were great to work with the only problem we had was the ice cream van kept stalling and it was pretty cold. The idea for the shoot came from the Art Director and the fact that the Grint brothers owned two very different vehicles.”

Rupert did say that the ice cream truck is not the most practical vehicle to drive.  Also, Mr Grassie mentioned that he may publish more pictures from the photoshoot soon. We’ll upload the pics as soon as we can.

Rupert Grint and James Grint Talk Ice Cream Vans, Rally and More!

March 3rd, 2012, 11:39pm–In a fun interview with The Daily Mail Rupert Grint and his brother James Grint talk candidly about their career choices and each other. Rupert also talks about his ice cream van and how he keeps it stocked and goes to neighborhoods giving out free ice cream.

‘I keep my van well stocked. It’s got a proper machine that dispenses Mr Whippy ice cream and I buy my lollies wholesale – 50 for a tenner – so I never run short. I’m not allowed to sell my merchandise. I’d need a licence for that.
‘I tend to avoid July and August, but the rest of the year I’ll drive around the local villages and if I see some kids looking like they’re in need of ice creams, I’ll pull over and dish them out for free. They’ll say, “Ain’t you Ron Weasley?” And I’ll say, “It’s strange, I get asked that a lot.”

The brothers had this to say about each other:

James: “If anything, Rupert’s success spurred me on to excel in my own field.”

Rupert: ‘As much as anything, I like the fact that I can attend my brother’s rally meetings. Now that we’re all grown up and no longer racing against each other, few things give me greater pleasure than seeing him win.’

Rupert also mentions that now that Harry Potter has ended he can sit back and choose his roles more wisely.

And don’t forget the world premiere of Into The White is tomorrow!

Rupert Grint On His Best And Worst Holiday Experiences!

2199z7d

January 14, 2010, 7:13 AM–A few months ago Rupert Grint attended the World Rally Championship to support his brother, the aspiring rally driver James Grint. On that occasion, he was interviewed by The Telegraph; and the interview in which Rupert discusses his best and worst holiday experiences has just seen the light of day! The interview is a pure joy; here are just a few highlights:

Question: What’s your best piece of travel advice?
Rupert: Always check your room thoroughly before you leave. Wherever I go, I always leave something behind. I’ve left suits, phones and even my wallet because I always spread my stuff about. I need someone to do a security sweep after me.

Question: What do you always take with you?
Rupert: I can’t live without my iPhone – it comes everywhere with me. It’s got so many applications on it it practically runs my life. And a couple of my favourite T-shirts. Apart from that, I’m a pretty light traveller.

Question: Is there anything you hate about holidays?
Rupert: Airports because they’re noisy and stressful. Plus it’s like being stuck in a giant fishbowl with no escape as people are always looking at me. Once I’m on the plane, I can relax.
