August 7, 2012, 2:37pm– Rupert Grint has just finished his appearance on Beat TV which aired on ITV2. It was a great show where Rupert displayed some of the many skills we all know and love him for – he danced, played the didgeridoo and even adopted the new nickname “Rup-Dog” which was given to him by the American swimmer and Olympic Gold Medalist Allison Schmitt.
As a special treat, Rupert‘s sister Samantha had the opportunity to play a song on the show and the video featured the entire Grint family looking on proudly. Check out her newly launched website here! Beat TV also tweeted a family portrait of the Grint family together:
We have added several screenshots from the show in our gallery here, and it is definitely worth a peek if you want to see Rupert dancing and playing the didgeridoo
As a last little treat the show mentioned an October 5 release for Into the White in the UK. We are looking into this as we speak, but exciting that it is getting buzz no matter what.
We will add the online version of the episode as soon as it becomes available so stay tuned!
UPDATE: As was announced on the show, Into the White has been renamed for the UK DVD release and is now called Cross of Honour. And you can pre-order the DVD and Blu-ray on Amazon already. Check out the new cover:

July 10, 2012, 11:05am– Today we have an exciting array of various fun tidbits to share with you about Rupert Grint and his role as Cheetah Chrome in CBGB. Rupert has been making a strong impression on some of the extras who were lucky enough to win a part in the Rock’n'Roll biopic.
One of the extras, Liz, was nice enough to provide a lot of information regarding Rupert‘s performance as Cheetah on twitter (@mlizmuller). She wrote that:
Today I got to be pushed by Alan Rickman and @AshleyMGreene , got beer spit on me by Justin Bartha, and saw Rupert Grint drop his pants.
As well as:
He rocks out with Justin Bartha in a dark jacket and no shirt, while making hilarious faces! Accent is American
Very exciting! Rupert‘s co-star Freddy Rodriguez, who plays Idaho in the film, also posted a picture of himself and some of the cast at a restaurant in Savannah and the picture includes Rupert (with a very appropiate t-shirt), Joel David Moore (Joey Ramone) and Justin Bartha (Stiv Bators) among others.
In completely different news, Into the White has been nominated for an Amanda Award for Best Sound Design. The award ceremony will take place on August 17 in correlation with The Norwegian International Film Festival in Haugesund. Congratulation and good luck to the entire team behind Into the White!
