July 03, 2009, 11:42pm–HBO just ran their first airing of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince special on their series First Look. In this we see Rupert Grint talk about the movie and many behind-the-scenes glimpses of him including new quidditch scenes, meeting Slughorn (Jim Broadbent), Lavender Brown (Jessie Cave), and much much more! One moment shown, which I think everyone was looking forward to, is the bit where Ron hugs onto Slughorn while under the effects of love potion! There were also quite a few new scenes shown including many great Ron scenes. As always, Rupert never disappoints with the comedy. The clip also shows various other moments including the bridge being demolished, as well as how they did it, the cave scenes and of course tons of other moments are featured! Caps coming soon and you can download the video here.
UPDATE: We’ve now added the clips on our youtube account here and here.

December 31, 2008, 7:45 PM–While we want to reflect on the year ahead, the year Rupert Grint fans have dubbed “The Year of the Grint”, we would like to take a moment and relive the year 2008, which held many amazing accomplishments for ICM and Rupert himself!
The biggest achievement in 2008 for Rupert has been movies. We knew for quite some time that Rupert had been ‘actively looking’ at projects, but in the beginning of 2008 we were only aware of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Although we were excited to hear that Rupert’s role in the next Harry Potter installment was much larger this time around, we still spent countless days chatting with the fans about how wonderful it would be to see him in something unlike his previous work. Then in June of 2008, we learned that there would be some exciting summer plans coming up. That sent the entire fandom into a frenzy! Finally, Rupert was beginning to branch out and think more about his post-Harry Potter career. We soon discovered that he would take part in a project known as Cherrybomb, a film set in Belfast covering substance abuse and teenage angst. Not only was this role as far from Hogwarts as you can get, but he was just simply growing up — both personally and professionally.
