First, MSN have published a short interview with Rupert in which he talks about appearing in Ed Sheeran‘s video for Lego House, and what the two of them have in common. You can view that video here.

In addition, Ed Sheeran also talked about Rupert, and Tom Felton’s involvement in making the video happen, and you can read about that in this article.

Next up is a deleted scene from the upcoming DVD of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, featuring Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger:

In the following clip, Rupert and his Harry Potter brothers James and Oliver Phelps talk about Julie Walter‘s most popular line in the finale of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, and filming the battle between Molly Weasley and Helena Bonham-Carter‘s Bellatrix Lestrange:

And finally, as we posted a few days ago, Rupert will appear on Top Gear Live to reclaim the top spot on the leader board. He will be racing on 26 November at ExCel Arena in London and said this about the event:

“I’m really looking forward to putting my time on the leader board at Top Gear Live this November. Hopefully, with a little bit of luck, the support of the crowd and some of The Stig’s wisdom of course, I can come out the winner!”

March 22nd, 2011, 1:56pm–It’s that time of year again and this time MTV did not disappoint us by not counting Rupert Grint among the nominees in their annual Movie Awards. While this is just to vote for the nominees you want, this is a chance for Rupert fans to show how much we adore him as an actor and how much we loved his amazing performance in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1! Speaking of which, he is also nominated along with Harry Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe in best fight against their Harry Potter co-star Helena Bonham Carter. Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is also pre-nominated for best movie of 2011. Let’s get to voting to help Rupert be among this years nominees by going here. We can do it, Rupert’s army!

UPDATE: It’s a bit of a long shot, but why not have some fun? In any category if you go to the bottom you can vote for an actor and such that you don’t see listed. As long as the movie is eligible you can vote. Well, low and behold, Wild Target is an eligible movie! So have some fun and nominated Rupert for best comedic performance through Wild Target!

Scans of Rupert Grint In Entertainment Weekly!

» November 4 by Tao in Gallery, HP News, Rupert News with 17 Comments

November 04, 2010, 5:55pm–Harry Potter website The Leaky Cauldron has obtained high-res scans from Entertainment Weekly‘s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I spread. In it Rupert Grint talks about moving beyond structured life in Harry Potter, the anticipated kiss between Ron and Hermione and that he always wanted to be an actor. EW takes a look back at Rupert (and his Harry Potter co-stars) in many of their early interviews. We also learn a hilarious moment between Rupert and the late Richard Harris!

At an early an early table reading for The Sorcerer’s Stone, Gint was seated next to the late Richard Harris … In the scene Dumbledore is addressing the student body in the Great Hall … When Harris finished, Grint turned to the legendary actor. “That was quite a good reading,” he said. “I think you’ll be quite good in this part.”

Co-star Helena Bonham Carter described Rupert to be just like Luna Lovegood.

“Rupert’s just delightful, and in his own world,” Bonham Carter said. “He’s a bit like Luna Lovegood, you know? He’s on his own moon.”

David Heyman says that if anything went wrong with any member of the trio, he’d immediately be on a plane or train for them.

Quite frankly the best article I’ve read about the series ending and how the cast and crew feel about the movies and each other. If you didn’t think about tearing up, I don’t know what would make you do so!

You can view all the scans in our gallery here and check the post below for pictures released by EW (they’re in the scans, but much clearer). Hopefully the WB will be sending us high-res soon!

Rupert Grint: Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Trailer Online Now!

» June 28 by Tao in HP News, Rupert News with 36 Comments

June 28, 2010, 7:09 PM– The long anticipated trailer for Rupert Grint’s film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows trailer is now online. The trailer which features scenes from both Part I and Part II showcasing Rupert’s character Ronald Weasley can be seen at the Official Harry Potter site here! Join us in our chat to discuss the trailer!!!

This new trailer starts off showing Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) walking through the forest to face Voldemort (Ralph Feinnes). Then, it goes on to a quick shot of the trio (with Hermione under Polyjuice) and Griphook (Warwick Davis) flying either to or from Gringotts. There’s an infinitesimal shot of Harry and Hagrid on the motorbike, and then we see Rupert Grint (as Ron) and Emma Watson (as Hermione) at the beach after Malfoy Manor.  There are some quick images of Hermione walking alone down a street and Harry still in his wedding clothes. After a shot of Hogwarts surrounded by a ring of fire,  a menacing man approaching the Hogwarts Express, another focus on Harry in the forest, the Wandmaker Gregorovitch (Rade Serbedzija), we see a clearer picture of the scene where Ron is splinched. The Antipodean Opaleye makes an appearance followed by a heartening image of Ron facing down the locket. All the Deatheaters gather in a ridiculously evil-looking formation before the trailer shows us Ron and Hermione holding onto each other as they fight valiantly at Hogwarts. There’s a quick glimpse of a Deatheater in the sky, Ron running away in his wedding clothes, and then Bellatrix (Helena Bonham Carter) before we see Harry running for his life. Your heart might stop a little at the image of Voldemort gripping Harry’s face tightly, only to be hit with a rush of adrenaline as the next image shows us a massive uprising of people running toward the fight. But it’s not over yet; flashes of the Trio in London, The Seven Potters, Nagini’s attack on Harry and Hermione assault your senses. Harry pleads with Ron to ‘kill it’ before we see Rupert heroically wielding the Sword of Gryffindor. Then there’s Feindfyre, more threatening Voldemort, Harry and Ginny (Bonnie Wright) locking lips in the heat of battle, the fight in the London cafe, Draco (Tom Felton) fighting for his life, and Hogwarts erupting in fire. Finally, we close on the final clash of Harry and Voldemort, set on a destroyed and war-torn landscape and littered with the dead and injured.

Can you still breathe?
