Ice Cream Man is an unofficial - though very professional and extremely good looking! - fansite, dedicated to the gorgeous and talented Rupert Grint. Alas, we are in no way affiliated with Rupert, his family or representatives. (*sob*) The site is ad-free and non-profit. All media is the property of their respective owners - no copyright infringement intended.
July 19th, 2011, 1:42pm–With the end of Harry Potter saga. The Harry Potter UK facebook page has released a video of Rupert Grint and his costars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and all Harry Potters crews saying Goodbye to the movie. Indeed it is the end but it will be very hard to forget about them, their characters and the whole saga.
An overwhelming moment for Rupert as you can see around 2min of the video. He really cried at the end of the movie but we can’t blame him because we did the same. It’s a wrap! Thanks J.K Rowling for this fabulous story, thanks Rupert for being the perfect Ron Weasley. Thanks to everyone involved in Harry Potter. We will miss you.
June 16th, 2011, 8:45pm–Sadly, the final Harry Potter trailer ever has been released online. Rupert Grint is featured throughout the Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows: Part 2 trailer which is just over 2 minutes. You can view the trailer via Apple here. Warning though – this is very spoiler-filled. Plus it’s completely epic and gave me chills! Warner Bros. should be sending us downloadable versions soon enough and we will add those as soon as we receive them.
The official website for DH2 also has released a few small clips from the film. You can see them by going to the website here.
Finally, if you haven’t pre-ordered your tickets there is still plenty of time and you can do so through us! Just click on the Fandango banner on the left side!
UPDATE: As promised, the links to download the untagged version of the trailer.
June 12th, 2011, 12:44pm–Yesterday Rupert Grint participated in a new magazine photoshoot with Attitude Magazine. The photographer stylist released some behind-the-scenes pictures of the shoot which you can view in our galleries here. Right now we do not know when the magazine will be out, but apparently Rupert may have gotten more of a haircut than he already had for Comrade. Hopefully this will be one of many photoshoots coming out to help promote Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. Remember that Rupert will be in THAT Magazine next month.
Rupert was also nominated for a Portal Award. He’s up against two Harry Potter co-stars – Daniel Radcliffe and Ralph Fiennes – as well as Leonardo Dicaprio and Chris Hemsworth. Major competition! Voting begins on June 25th and we will let you know as soon as voting opens.
UPDATE: The issue of Attitude Magazine will be the July 2011 issue and will hit newsstands in late June. If anyone is able to get scans, please send them in!
UPDATE 2: Sorry, guys! We were asked to remove the images, so we did just that. :/ The July issue of Attitude that will feature Rupert will be out later this months, so best get excited already. However, we now know that Rupert’s shoe size is 43 (Europe) / 9 (UK) / 10 (US)…
June 10th, 2011, 9:50 am– We are happy to announce the five winners of our Harry Potter Soundtrack contest. We asked you guys to tell us a song, which you thought should be played in the background, when the BIG KISS happens in Deathly Hallows Part 2 and why it would be the perfect song for Ron and Hermione.
And thanks to WB we have the download links for the featurette we showed you some days ago here.
The featurette takes a look back on all eight Harry Potter films and shows a new scene from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2.
You’ll find all the links below. Enjoy!
June 9th, 2011, 10:01pm–With the countdown for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 to hit theaters now at 35 days we’re getting so many goodies featuring Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley. First off we have a few more posters to go along with the one released yesterday. These two mainly feature the trio. The first one, which can be viewed here, is another good vs. evil type with the trio and others battling out Voldemort, Bellatrix and others. The other one is probably one of my favorite trio posters ever: it’s of the trio on the dragon as they escape from Gringotts! Which you can see in our galleries here.
Now onto the business of stickers. There is a site called GetGlue that offers stickers for various activities including watching movies and TV. Warner Bros. has just released several stickers for the Deathly Hallows upcoming release including this lovely Ron sticker along with stickers for all 8 movies. In order to get them all you have to do is “check in” that you’re watching DH2. Each sticker will be available at certain days up until the release of the movie. Warning: This place gets addictive!
Finally Hottopic has begun releasing new merchandise for DH2 including something I’ve wanted for a very long time: a Ron Weasley bookmark! You can order it here. As an avid reader this made me quite happy. Best. Bookmark. Ever!
UPDATE: 12:50am–You can now pre-order your tickets via Regal theaters in the US! And on a note having nothing to do with any of what I just mentioned, we have partnered back up with Fandango to pre-order DH2 tickets. Ordering through us will give us a commission that we can use to better the site. When tickets are definitely available for pre-order we’ll let you know.
