To make things even more exciting, Rupert will be reuniting with his former Harry Potter cast mates Tom Felton (Tupert!!) and James & Oliver Phelps. They will all take part in a panel together called HOGWARTS REUNION: An evening with the stars of Harry Potter which will take place on Saturday.
Rupert will also be available for a photo-op on both Saturday and Sunday. Read more about that here (where you can also order tickets) – please note that Rupert will be doing individual photo-ops as well as photo-ops with both Tom and the twins. So there’s loads of posibilites for fun pictures.

We are aware that we are a bit late with this news. We have been waiting for official confirmation from Rupert’s reps since we have been fooled by these kinds of events before. But rest assured, Rupert WILL be attending Fan Expo Canada this weekend.

Ten staff members (both former and present) will share their personal stories of how they came to work on the site and what their dearest memories are. And we would like to see you participate in our celebration by voting in our ten polls, and sharing your memories in the comments.

We are starting today with the year 2004, when everything began shortly after the release of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Our webmistress Tao will tell you about her intention behind creating RG.us and what it means to her ten years later.

Rupert Grint & Daniel Mays Talk Mojo on Lorraine!

MojoIcon2Rupert Grint & Daniel Mays Talk Mojo on Lorraine!December 31st, 2013, 4:54am– Rupert Grint and Daniel Mays appeared together this morning on ITVs Lorraine to talk about Mojo, and it proved to be a delightful interview where their on-stage bromance were visible to see.

They talked about how happy they are about the audience’s positive response to the play, their individual nominations in the WhatsOnStage Awards (VOTE!) as well as their past projects playing Ron Weasley and Ronny Biggs. They were also asked what 2014 had in store for them, but like true actors they dodged the question beautifully and never gave a proper answer.

We hope to have a video of this interview up soon, but until then we have uploaded lots of screenshots in our gallery here.

UPDATE: An online version of the interview has found it’s way to YouTube (thanks to BC TV):

Rupert Grint: New Interview about CBGB, Tattoos and Twitter!

RupertNewsIconRupert Grint: New Interview about CBGB, Tattoos and Twitter!!October 8th, 2013, 1:36pm– Rupert Grint has done a new interview with Vulture.com where he talks about an array of things. The interview was done over the phone since Rupert is very busy with Mojo rehearsals at the moment.

One of the things a lot of fans are putting on their wish list is to finally see Rupert on twitter. Vulture asks about this and we once again get confirmation that he is indeed NOT on twitter… yet:

Every Twitter feed claiming to be you doesn’t seem like it’s really you. Are they impostors? Are you even on Twitter?
No, I’m not. If you saw one, that would be a fake one, yeah. I don’t know. It’s weird that people pretend to do that, pretend that they’re me. But I’ve never done Twitter. A lot of people have already said that I should give it a go, but I don’t think I’d be very good at it! It’s just not something … I’m not great at any of those things, really. Maybe one day, though.

The rest of the interview is mostly about CBGB and we get a hilarious comment on the (very special) scene where Rupert had to take his pants off:

You wear a dog collar throughout the film. Did you get to keep it?
No. I really wanted to, though. [Laughs.] I kind of got quite attached to the dog collar. Wearing it every day, I felt naked without it.

Not as naked as the scene in which you drop trou!
Oh, right, yeah. Yes. That was quite fun. I didn’t really think about it until I had to do it, but it was kind of quite a tricky process. I think in the end, we needed a sock contraption. [Laughs.] So that kind of worked. That was the first time I had ever done anything like that. Justin Bartha had to do a lot more, actually. He had to get his waxed. So there was a lot of preparation there. Luckily, I don’t have that issue.
