July 9th, 2011, 4:45am– The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 promotional work is non-stop for Rupert Grint these days. This also means that the funniest and sometimes weirdest stories are finding their way through the internet.

In this case, Rupert admits to having a crush on one of the British royals – can you guess who that might be? He also mentions how the “ginger community” has embraced him after landing the role of Ron Weasley.

July 9th, 2011, 12:45pm– With only few more days until Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 comes to cinemas, Rupert Grint is doing the rounds of promotion.

UK’s newspaper, The Sun conducted an interview with Rupert. In the interview, Rupert talks about him buying a cheap car for the Wacky Rally which he did with James and Oliver Phelps. Rupert also opens up about the close bond he has with his family, growing up in the spotlight and being recognised by fans and strangers. Of course, Rupert was also asked about the highly anticipated kiss with co-star Emma Watson.

Here’s an extract from the interview:
“It’s because we film in Watford, which isn’t the most glamorous of spots. If we had filmed in America or something it could have been disastrous. I never felt any pressure. It was just fun really.” The constant and intense attention of fans makes this level-headed approach even more remarkable.

… the very last chapter of the Harry Potter phenomenon has just begun as the stars from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is walking down the red carpet on Leicester Square in London – including our very own Rupert Grint as well as Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Matthew Lewis, Tom Felton, Bonnie Wright and Helena Bonham Carter.

“Every film has something special about it and I’ll always treasure [them]. This one is very special to us because it is the last one and we wanted it to be the best one, so everyone can kind of remember us on a high,”

June 29th, 2011, 5:42pm–As we told you a few days ago. Rupert Grint and his co stars James and Oliver Phelps were on the El Hormiguero show in Spain tonight for Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows part 2 promotion. You can see now the four videos on their web site page here. Check on the left side. Seems they had an awesome time in the show.

The videos are entitled “How is the Harry Potter final?“, “The fans are sending us Pyjamas”, “The Phelps’s sixth sens” and (not sure about this one) “The Black man’s magical Karate“.
