March 22nd, 2011, 1:56pm–It’s that time of year again and this time MTV did not disappoint us by not counting Rupert Grint among the nominees in their annual Movie Awards. While this is just to vote for the nominees you want, this is a chance for Rupert fans to show how much we adore him as an actor and how much we loved his amazing performance in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1! Speaking of which, he is also nominated along with Harry Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe in best fight against their Harry Potter co-star Helena Bonham Carter. Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is also pre-nominated for best movie of 2011. Let’s get to voting to help Rupert be among this years nominees by going here. We can do it, Rupert’s army!

UPDATE: It’s a bit of a long shot, but why not have some fun? In any category if you go to the bottom you can vote for an actor and such that you don’t see listed. As long as the movie is eligible you can vote. Well, low and behold, Wild Target is an eligible movie! So have some fun and nominated Rupert for best comedic performance through Wild Target!

March 19th, 2011, 1:48pm–In a new clip producer David Barron talks about the last day of filming which we see an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the final shot of the final films. This will appear on the DVD and Blu-Ray for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1! Rupert Grint appears very early, the first shot of him getting water reapplied to his hair to keep it wet. Daniel Radcliffe introduces the clip. We also see the that Rupert, Dan and Emma Watson‘s final shot is running and landing on a mattress which finally appears on the film of them running and jumping into the fireplace to escape from the Ministry. March 13th, 2011, 8:34pm–While waiting for Rupert Grint‘s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 to hit DVD and Blu-Ray in April and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 to hit theaters in July, we can enjoy some news about the franchise. The first thing is a new book coming out called Harry Potter Page to Screen – The Complete Filming Journey. US publisher Harper Collins is releasing the book as the follow up to Harry Potter Film Wizardry. While the cover released is preliminary (although we hope Harper Collins knows that any cover with Rupert on the front should stay!) you can still take a look at that here as it may be close to the final product. The book will be 500 pages long and will have all sorts of details with behind-the-scenes knowledge we never knew before including photos of the cast, reactions to Richard Harris’ death and much, much more. The book is slated to go on sale on October 25, 2011.

In even more exciting news ABC Family’s Harry Potter weekend marathon will begin this coming weekend (March 17-20) and will feature never-before-scene footage of part 2 of Deathly Hallows. We will have a busy weekend with Rupert’s involvement of Red Nose Day AND a Harry Potter weekend! We couldn’t be more excited. How about you?

March 12th, 2010, 6:41pm–We have a double treat for you today. First we have a brand new layout for our gallery! That’s right, after a year plus on the old layout we have finally updated to a brand new one. This one was designed by Flor of Sweet Revelation and we think it’s fantastic and we hope you do too! While you’re at the gallery checking it out you can find brand new Rupert Grint pictures from the press op photocall/photoshoot for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 that Rupert did while in New York to promote the film. March 1st, 2011, 8:19pm–Today magazine Entertainment Weekly has released the first ever blu-ray trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. The trailer features many Rupert Grint moments including behind-the-scenes footage of filming various scenes including Ron destroying the locket hurcrux. We also see Rupert riding a bike (something we haven’t seen since Driving Lessons) on the set. We also get a small glimpse of the feature “On The Green” of Rupert, Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Oliver Phelps (George Weasley) and James Phelps (Fred Weasley) in their golfing gear walking around on the golf course.
