February 16th, 2010, 12:04 AM–Last month, we launched the “Are You Ron’s Biggest Wheezy” contest, where the winner would receive a Ron/Harry Potter T-shirt from Hot Topic and a picture that Rupert autographed, exclusively for ICM! The response has been simply amazing! We received so many heartfelt, creative, and passionate entries expressing undying love for Ron, that we couldn’t bear to just choose one winner. So, without further ado… *drumroll please*…

The official winner of the “Ron’s Biggest Wheezy” contest is: Amu. She will receive a Harry Potter/Ron T-shirt of her choosing from Hot Topic, plus the autographed picture.

Runners-up are: Jasmine and Aracelli. They will both receive an autographed picture, signed by Rupert himself!

You’ll be seeing Amu, Jasmine, and Aracelli’s entries in the next edition of Grintastic(because they’re just too good not to be read by everyone!). Plus, they can either choose to write a Ron or Rupert-related essay, make a fan video, or any other creative endeavor that would like to have published in Grintastic! Congratulations guys!

Again, thanks so much to everyone who participated. We completely enjoyed reading and considering all of the entries. You guys ROCK! And you can guarantee that we’ll have more contests with cool stuff to give away in the future.

Rupert Grint: ICM Site News Update!
January 5th, 2010, 6:22 PM–We all know that Rupert Grint has an exciting year ahead and ICM has some exciting things coming up as well. First we will be launching new features all throughout the year and we want to take it to the next level so we have officially opened up a twitter account for our interactive fanzine Grintastic.

We have so many talented writers and artists in this fandom so we would like to see the fans showcase their talents and give their thoughts on Rupert or anything that interests them from life to pop culture. Michelle will be sending out tweets to keep you updated on the latest ICM polls, podcasts and editorial pieces. Feel free offer up your own ideas by contacting us at staff@rupert-grint.us because the fanzine is your thing.

Speaking of fanzine, our best of the decade is going really well. So far best actor photo-shoot of the decade is Entertainment Weekly and best Rupert Grint photo-shoot is going to Drama! Now most of you know that 2009 was hailed as “Year of Grint.” For a brand new decade we needed something different and so it was suggested “Year of Grint- Reloaded.” It’s seem to have taken off quite well. So what do you think? Yay or nay? Comment here and tell us.

In career news, I know its frustrating but I just heard an update that everything is going well on the distribution front so we’ll just have to wait it out a little longer… We have some other cool things to reveal soon too so stay tuned folks.
