November 3rd, 2010 6:00AM — November is a great month if you are a Rupert Grint fan.  And we will tell you why?

In our recent post, we have revealed about Cherrybomb’s DVD release in Australia on the 24th of November. But lets not forget the Australia-wide release of  Wild Target on the 11th of November and  Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows on  the 18th November. This definitely is a triple celebration for all fans of Rupert Grint especially for those from Oz land. :)

Hence we are very pleased to announce that the distributors of Cherrybomb, Universal Pictures Australia  and the distributors of  Wild Target, Icon Film Distribution Australia have graciously given us some Cherrybomb DVD’s and Wild Target Australian posters to be given away to the lovely fanbase of Rupert Grint!

And who are we to say no to them. So we decided to celebrate this spectacular Rupert-filled month by holding a small contest. This contest is open to EVERYONE INTERNATIONALLY and offers a great chance for fans to win some of the really exclusive (the ones we talked about above) and awesome prizes that represents all three movies.

To win this, “Caption Tony’s Action” contest,  all you have to do is to caption the GIF image that we have for you here or by clicking on the image below in 25 words or less, making it as witty as possible. The GIF is courtesy of the amazing Laura a.k.a Hunter Graphics.

The winner with the most wittiest caption wins a trio of Rupert Awesomeness with a Cherrybomb DVD (Australian release), a Wild Target Poster (Australian) and a Ron/Harry Potter T-shirt from Hot Topic of your choice.

The IInd and IIIrd place winners get a combo of a Cherrybomb DVD and a Wild Target Poster. We also have 3 consolation prizes where the winners can choose between the Poster or the DVD.

September 7th, 2010, 1:05 PM — As we reported here a few days ago, Fault Magazine has just released another lovely image of Rupert Grint via their Facebook and Twitter pages.  The image below is just a preview, you can view a larger version by ust clicking the image below.

And we have also added a few images of Rupert Grint when he attended the V-Festival and Reading Festival a couple weeks back. You view them via our gallery here and here. August 24th, 2010, 9:23pm–We are really excited to reveal that ICM had the opportunity to interview Rupert Grint a few days ago and we asked him a few Birthday themed questions for a special Grintastic fanzine designed to celebrate his big 22nd birthday! Rupert was asked about his best birthday experience, whom he would have serenade him in a birthday song and also describes his fond memories in the kitchen helping his mom out with her wedding cake decorating!

A big thanks to Rupert for taking the time to chat with us and we hope you guys enjoyed reading a few new facts about him.

April 30th, 2010, 1:06 AM-Since Rupert Grint, and his fellow co-starts, are quickly approaching their last day shooting for the Harry Potter movie series, we thought it only fitting to dedicate our April edition of Grintastic to the gingers that have completely rocked our world-Ron Weasley and Rupert Grint!

In this edition, which is entitled, “In Celebration of Ron Weasley-In Celebration of Rupert Grint,”you’ll find plenty goodies; such as, another essay from Aracelli, one of our “Ron’s Biggest Wheezy Contest” winners, Ron and Rupert-fan questionnaires from frequent ICMers Marite and Galadriel, as well as a fan-made video from Rosa! Also, we’ve some Ron and Rupert staff picks, which include what each staffer would like to see Rupert play a role in in remakes of their favorite movies! So, definitely check those out. And we’ve also got the ever present Ron-related crossword puzzles made by staffer Karo, and, the return of the ever so spoofy horoscopes!

February 28th, 2010, 12:47 AM-While we wait for some more distribution news on Rupert Grint’s movies, Cherrybomb and Wild Target, or just some juicy news in general, here’s the newest edition of Grintastic to entertain you!

As we promised, you’ll finally get to see the “Are You Ron’s Biggest Wheezy” contest winners’ entries-read Amu’s amazing prize-winning essay and see exactly why her entry was chosen. You can also read the runners-up-Aracelli and Jasmine-essays as well. As you’ll remember, there was also a second portion of the contest where the winner(s) would contribute another work of art! You’ll get to see those in the April edition of Grintastic. In the mean time, peruse their wonderful essays and don’t forget to leave comments, praise, congratulations for them on the pages!
