May 21, 2009, 10:54 AM–Yesterday we posted the first clip from the upcoming summer blockbuster Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, courtesy of Ellen DeGeneres show. The clip featured a scene starring Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe, as Ron Weasley eats the chocolate cauldrons spiced with love potion and confesses his undying love for Romilda Vane to Harry Potter. Today, a longer excerpt from the movie has been released via Sky News: we get to see the same scene, but longer, and even more hilarious (if that’s possible!) Watch it here (just wait for the ad to finish first), and we’ll have a downloadable version soon!
Thanks Roswitha for the heads-up!
UPDATE: Thanks to Lilly and Francaise, you can now watch the extended HBP clip on YouTube!
GALLERY UPDATE: There is now a new promotional poster with Harry and Ron/Hermione side by side. View here! And screencaps from the Sky news extended clip here.
UPDATE 2: Warner Brothers has sent over high quality clips of the Ellen clip from yesterday in various formats.. (more…)

May 20, 2009, 11:35 AM–As the release of Rupert Grint‘s new film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince draws nearer, the very first clip from the film has been shown on the “Ellen” show!
It features Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley in a hilarious scene under the influence of the Chocolate Cauldrons that Romilda Vane had filled with Love Potion, and his interaction with Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter.

On another Harry-Potter related note: We are currently making plans for the premieres of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in Japan, London and New York. If you are planning to attend either of the premieres, let us know here in the forums , because staff will be present and we think it would be great to meet you all in person.
Reminder: Don’t forget to help making sure that Rupert’s other film Cherrybomb makes it into theatres!
