August 27th, 11:36pm–One of the features that will be on the UK Wild Target DVD will be a collection of interviews with the cast and crew of the film. Rupert Grint’s will contain about three minutes of material and will be as follows:

• Rupert on Tony
• Rupert on Tony’s relationship with Victor
• Rupert on Tony’s attraction to Victor’s profession
• Rupert on Victor’s home
• Rupert on working with Jonathan Lynn
• Rupert on what attracted him to working to the project
• Rupert on working on the film

Emily Blunt also has an area where she will talk about Rupert’s character, Tony. Other interviews that may talk about Rupert are as follows:

• Martin Freeman on the cast

• Eileen Atkins on the appeal of the cast
• Gregor Fisher on working with the cast
• Jonathan Lynn on the cast
• Jonathan Lynn on the story
• Lucinda Coxon on the cast
• Lucinda Coxon on the story
• Martin Pope on Wild Target
• Martin Pope on the relationship of the characters
• Martin Pope on the cast

The entire length of the feature is almost 50 minutes long! Unfortunately so far this is the only extra we know of on the DVD. The minute we hear of any thing else that will be added to the DVD, we’ll let you know!

June 16th, 2010, 8:20AM— As the release of Rupert Grint’s new film Wild Target gets closer, we are getting more interviews. Now here’s a new interview published by ABC America online.

In this interview, Rupert talks how he is ready and is looking forward to move on from Harry Potter and play different roles other than Ron Weasley. Rupert also talks about the appeal of being in smaller budget films and how he enjoys the pressure of these films. You can read the interview here.

Also, Chester Chronicle UK has released their review of Wild Target. They praise the acting of Bill Nighy, Emily Blunt, Eileen Atkins and of course Rupert. You read the entire review here, but in the meantime enjoy this little excerpt.

Grint fans will relish the scenes, and there are quite a few, where he is seen without a top… and Grint proves he is more than Harry Potter’s trusty sidekick Ron Weasley.

Just a reminder that Wild Target opens in the UK this Friday, 18 June and is scheduled for release in France on 7 July and in the US on 8th October.

March 22, 2009, 12:07PM–We haven’t heard any news regarding Rupert Grint‘s latest film Wild Target in a while, except that it is still in post-production. Well, here’s a trace of hope that we’ll be hearing more about it soon! Laura has discovered an article which suggests that the film, directed by Jonathan Lynn and starring Bill Nighy, Emily Blunt, Rupert Grint, Rupert Everett, Martin Freeman, Gregor Fisher and Eileen Atkins, will be “available for delivery” in July 2009! We suppose this means that editing will be finished and the movie will be put up for sale or distribution in less than four months. So hopefully we’ll get the first Wild Target trailer around that time as well! We’ll keep you updated of course.
