Ice Cream Man is an unofficial - though very professional and extremely good looking! - fansite, dedicated to the gorgeous and talented Rupert Grint. Alas, we are in no way affiliated with Rupert, his family or representatives. (*sob*) The site is ad-free and non-profit. September 3rd, 2010, 9:18pm–The lovely folks behind UK promotion of Cherrybomb have graciously given us five Cherrybomb DVDs signed by Rupert Grint himself to give away to the fans! We’re very excited to present this opportunity and we wanted to make it quite easy for everyone who wants to enter. All we’re asking is that you e-mail us! That’s it! The first five people who e-mail us at staff@rupert-grint.us that they want a signed Cherrybomb DVD will receive one! But please remember that the Cherrybomb DVDs are region 1 and the only way to play them outside of the countries who use region 1 (such as the US, we use region 2) is with a region free DVD player or a computer that’s able to play them! This contest is open to everyone, as you may just want a lovely keepsake instead of worrying about playing the DVD!
Also remember, while they’re not signed, we still have several blu-ray and regular Cherrybomb DVDs from Germany to give away, so stay tuned for more of that as well!
UPDATE: Sorry guys, the contest is closed. Thanks to everyone who e-mailed us!
November 25th, 2009, 1:33 PM–For the promotion of the Half-Blood Prince DVD release Canadian news channel CTV interviews Rupert Grint and his Harry Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe from the Deathly Hallows film set. In this short interview Rupert once again talks about how sad it is going to be once the Harry Potter filming ends but admits he is kinda ready to move on. There is a video directly at CTV or you can check it on our favorites list via you-tube here. We have also updated our you-tube with the latest DVD clips from Half-Blood Prince including Rupert’s interview about the chess scene to help hold you over during the slow news days!
Also you might have noticed that we are looking for any fans in Japan that can contact us about some assistance we need on project we are working on. Please email us at staff@rupert-grint.us if you know any fans in this region. Thanks!
November 17th, 2009, 4:39 AM–A new clip of Rupert Grint from the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince bonus disc is now available and features a hilarious commentary by his co-star Tom Felton. Tom goes through a list of random questions that were asked to each cast member on the Harry Potter set. Rupert is asked a few things about music, which famous people he’s met and then it gets to “What would you change most about the world?” Rupert then gives the best answer of all:
Everyone to be ginger would be good. A ginger world, that would be cool.
Very true and super cute! You will find his answers below and the entire clip is definitely worth it, so check it out via you-tube here. There is also another similar video with a little bit of Rupes in it. View that one here.
What historical figure would you like to spend the day with? Shakespeare
What is your biggest musical fantasy that you would love to talk to? Kings of Leon
Who is the most famous person you have ever met? Robin Williams
January 12, 2009 3:32am–While searching for the latest on Rupert Grint I cam across something rather odd as I wasn’t expecting this at all. DVD Clinic/JoBlo.com has a review of a documentary called ‘American Teen‘, which follows 5 high school students around, that just came out on DVD. In the extras he mentions that one of the high school students featured, Hannah Bailey, “blogs” on about such things like her dog and the perfect guy–which he astonishingly states “Rupert Grint“, and other such things like the perfect date. Judging from the reaction (with an exclamation point and a question mark) I’d say this is indeed the case. If anyone has this or plans to rent it, please let us know all about it!
