February 2, 2009, 2:58 PM–As we promised, here is the next bit of our coverage of Rupert Grint‘s new film Cherrybomb, which is going to have its world premiere in no less than six days at the Berlin Film Festival!
After our interview with Stephen Hilton, we are happy to share our interview with Gary Irwin of The Vendetta Suite, whose song Della Notte will be featured on the Cherrybomb soundtrack as well. Gary has been working with David Holmes, who was responsible for the Cherrybomb score, for many years and is happy to finally have one of his songs on a soundtrack!

January 31, 2009, 3:21 PM–With only eight days left until the world premiere of Rupert Grint‘s latest movie Cherrybomb, we are determined to bring you new exclusives every day! Today, we have two treats for you: the first one is the full and definitive Cherrybomb soundtrack, and the second is Karo‘s exclusive interview with the band flyKKiler, who have contributed two songs to the movie! The band member whom Karo spoke to, Stephen Hilton, actually collaborated with David Holmes on scoring the entire soundtrack. Together, they hoped to bring to the film a variety of music(s) that teenagers nowadays listen to, as they have access to a large range of sounds via iTunes or the internet.

Dublin, January 8th, 2009, 10:00AM–The awards season has only just begun, but Rupert Grint‘s film Cherrybomb has already received a nomination! The shortlist of nominees for the 6th annual Irish Film and Television Awards was announced this afternoon, and Belfast musician/DJ David Holmes has been nominated twice in the Original Score Category for his soundtracks to Hunger and Cherrybomb. The 6th Annual Irish Film & Television Awards takes place in Dublin on 14th February. Let’s hope David Holmes wins and of course let’s hope that is just the first in the series of awards for Cherrybomb! Oh, and Mr Holmes has friended us at ICM Cherrybomb Myspace page, so please visit his page and congratulate him for the nomination!
