October 24th, 2010, 7:37pm–To continue promotion of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, Rupert Grint has been featured on the cover of Lad Magazine. Rupert has been featured in the magazine on several occasions, but this is the first time he has graced the cover! Rupert is featured on the December 2010 issue with a picture from Blag Magazine which also has another Blag picture for the article. Speaking of the article, it’s really quite a good read! Lad Magazine gushes over Rupert’s body, and Rupert himself laughs it off saying it must be all the ping pong as he’s “quite lazy”. We also learn that Rupert not only owns an ice cream van and a hovercraft, but a VW van! Who knew?
Other parts of the interview talk about the end of Harry Potter, his obsession with ping pong, future film roles (though he only talks about weird roles he’s been offered), and how he believes he’ll always be known as “the ginger one from Harry Potter”.
We couldn’t agree more with Lad Magazine… we’re firmly on the “red(head) team” as well! Click here to view the scans and to read the interview!
Don’t forget you can pre-order your Deathly Hallows through us via Fandango. Just click on the banner on the left hand side!
A big thanks to Hana for the scans!
UPDATE: Rupert also spoke recently to the Scottish Daily Record about being star struck with Maggie Smith and Alan Rickman, weirdness on the set of Driving Lessons and more. Read it here!
July 27th, 2010, 2:06pm–We have just received word from the wonderful people behind Cherrybomb‘s marketing team in the UK about E4′s slackers vote out. Voting will be between two films, Rupert Grint‘s Cherrybomb and Alice Cooper‘s vampire spoof “Suck“. The winner will be played on the big screen on August 11th at all Picturehouse cinemas. So if you didn’t get the chance to see it in theaters in the UK, or you did and want to see it again, you can now help get it back out there for you and the rest of the fans before the official August 23rd UK DVD release. You can vote here at E4′s website. Unfortunately it seems to only be opened to UK residents so the rest of us can’t help out, but we hope all the lucky folks in the UK work on it so everyone can see Cherrybomb again before it’s official DVD release!
In other Blag news, as you know, Rupert Grint will be featured in the latest edition from his 2009 photoshoot with them. We have just received word from the lovely Sarah Edwards that he will also be featured in the Passion and Patience exhibition.
Unfortunately none of these images are allowed to make their way onto our site, so we ask you do not use them in forum signatures, avatars, etc. We apologize, but those are the rules! However you can view them here. These are great images that originally made it into Rupert’s Blag issue. You can view the press release here.

July 1, 2009, 1:34 PM–The UK music retailer HMV loved the BLAG magazine with Rupert Grint on the cover (fyi that’s the photo we’re using for our site layout) so much that they have asked to use it for their My Inspiration campaign to promote the new Harry Potter film and box set releases. This campaign will see the photos of Rupert Grint and his co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson grace windows and underground stations galore. The trio will not only look good in the posters, but they will also be quoting their favourite lines from favourite films!
Many thanks to Sarah J Edwards with the Blag magazine for letting us know, and for sending us the never before seen shot from their session! View it in our gallery here.
If you haven’t purchased your precious copy of Blag yet, you may do so via their official store. Read our useful tips for purchase here, and if you need help, just email us at staff@rupert-grint.us! And after you get the mag, you may take part in our project for Rupert’s 21st Birthday: Blag Around The World! The photos that we have received so far have been added to our gallery here. You may also view the officialy released photos from Blag here, the behind-the-scenes video with the outtakes here, and the first official press release here.
And if you happen to spot a new HMV advert with Rupert, please take a snapshot of it, send it to us, and we’ll forward it to Sarah and Sally Edwards — they’d love to see it!
April 7, 2009, 11:13am–Good news US Rupert Grint fans! I have just been informed by Blag Magazine that their magazine will hit stores in the US next week! Also at the end of the month, the magazine will go on sale at Hastings in the Mid-West! They ask that if you have any questions to e-mail them at shop@blagmagazine.com! I have already asked them about why Barnes & Nobel and Borders are telling people they do not carry the magazine. So fret not, we will hopefully have an answer to that soon and I will let you know as soon as I hear anything!
