Ice Cream Man is an unofficial - though very professional and extremely good looking! - fansite, dedicated to the gorgeous and talented Rupert Grint. Alas, we are in no way affiliated with Rupert, his family or representatives. (*sob*) The site is ad-free and non-profit. A Message from Rupert Grint about Teenage Cancer Trust!August 29, 2012, 1:20pm– Although Rupert Grint‘s birthday has come and gone, we have decided to continue our project where we raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust in honour of Rupert‘s birthday.
We are making August a “Teenage Cancer Trust Awareness Month” in order to help as many people as possible through the donations. However, August is slowly coming towards its end and we still need to raise a bit before we reach our goal of £824.
That is why we turned to the man himself and asked him for a statement about the project and what it means to him to have all the fans raise money in honour of his birthday:
It would make my birthday amazing this year if everyone managed to donate whatever they can afford to the Teenage Cancer Trust – every donation counts and it’s for such a brilliant cause! Cancer in young people is often in the most aggressive form and Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity working specifically for this age group. So a big thank you to Rupert-grint.us for their support for this cause and let’s get raising money!
You heard Rupert – let’s do this and make him proud of his amazing fans!
All you need to do is go HERE and press donate. It is extremely easy and you can donate the amount of your own choice – every penny counts!
Stylelist Article: The Signature Look of Rupert Grint! August 23, 2012, 3:12pm– In honour of Rupert Grint‘s birthday tomorrow, Stylelist has released an article about Rupert‘s signature look that we all adore, and how it has changed over the years.
Although he may not have quite the fashion cred of Hermione Granger, the British-born actor has solidified his off-screen look. Whether walking the red carpet or doing errands, you can expect to see the child star wearing his uniform: a graphic t-shirt, blazer and dark slacks.
So take a walk down memory lane and enjoy all the lovely pictures of Ruperthere! What is your favourite look? Let us know in the comments.
Thanks Brittany for the tip!
Our special “Rupert Grint Birthday Project” continues and there is still time for you to donate to Rupert‘s favourite charity, Teenage Cancer Trust. Read more about it and donate HERE! Every penny counts, and we want to fulfill Rupert‘s special birthday wish.

Rupert is set to appear on Beat TV on ITV2 at 6:30pm tonight so stay tuned for any and all news about his appearance later on.
There is still plenty of time for you to donate to Teenage Cancer Trust in our special Birthday Project. It is extremely easy, all you have to do is go to this site and press donate! Every donation, big or small, is appreciated a great deal!
Rupert Grint’s Birthday Wish: Donate to Teenage Cancer Trust!August 1st, 2012, 6:06am– There are only 24 days until Rupert Grint turns 24-years-old and this means that it is time for our annual Birthday Project. Every year, fans from around the world come together to make August 24 extra special for Rupert, and this year we have decided to do a project close to Rupert‘s heart and our own. Instead of sending Rupert a gift or a birthday card, we want you to use that money on a donation for Rupert‘s favourite charity, the Teenage Cancer Trust!
We have decided to make the entire month of August our “Teenage Cancer Trust Awareness Month” and we plan on promoting this cause on the site as well as on our Facebook, our Twitter and our Tumblr. But we cannot do this without your help – so please help us spread the word to anyone and everyone that you know. Every little bit helps, and we want this project to become a huge success!
As you all know, we had the chance to ask Rupert a few questions at the Olympic Torch Relay last Wednesday, and we took the opportunity to ask which charity was closest to his heart. You can see his response below:
We have made it easy for everyone to donate by creating a Just Giving page where all the donations go directly to the Teenage Cancer Trust. Our page can be found HERE! When you have donated you will be able to leave a Happy Birthday message for Rupert which we will pass along to him on the big day.
UPDATE: We have received a statement from Teenage Cancer Trust about this Birthday Project and what the money donated will help achieve:
We are honoured that Rupert Grint and his fans have chosen to celebrate his 24th birthday by raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust. Every penny will make a massive difference to the six young people aged between 13 and 24 diagnosed with cancer every day.
As the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for the, we build specialist units within NHS hospitals bringing young people together to be treated by teenage cancer experts in a place designed just for them. We want every young person with cancer to have access to this specialist support, no matter where they live. With your support we know we can achieve this.
Rupert Grint featured in BLAG’s 20th Anniversary Edition!July 3rd, 2012, 4:02pm– Many of you might remember when Rupert Grint was first featured in BLAG magazine in 2009 where we were lucky enough to get a long interview and several pages of gorgeous photos of Rupert which even featured a stunning close-up on the cover! You can check out some of the pictures here!
Now we have just received word that Rupert will once again grace the shiny pages in BLAG’s 20th Anniversary Edition! This volume (Vol. 3 Nø 3) has Tom Hardy and Noomi Rapace on the front cover, but more importantly it will include a brand new Q&A with Rupert in which he even mentions the Birthday Project we did called “Blag Around the World”. Rupert has once before been asked if he could recall a special birthday gift he had received from his fans and his answer was:
I did a cover shoot for BLAG Magazine and my fans sent me a book filled with pictures of them taken with the magazine from all over the world. It was very cool… some were walking the wall of China; others in New York and even someone crossing a bridge over a river with a 100ft drop: all the while with my issue of BLAG.
What is even more special about this 20th Anniversary Edition of BLAG is the fact that YOU can be apart of it as well – you can read all about how you can take part in this amazing opportunity, and also order your copy of BLAG featuring Rupert once again, right here!
