December 5th, 2009, 8:11 PM– British newspaper The Independent has released a new interview with Eddie The Eagle Edwards in which Mr. Edwards talks more about his career and how he didn’t like the older script because it made him sound like Alan Partridge! Rupert Grint is also mentioned again. Excerpt:

Now Eddie Edwards is back. Next year work will begin on filming his life story, with fellow ginger-top Rupert Grint – “that guy from Harry Potter” – in the lead role. Originally it was to have been Steve Coogan. “But I looked at the script and hated it – it made me sound like Alan Partridge,” Edwards tells us.

And The Herald Sun has just named their top 10 Movie Characters Of The Decade listing our Harry Potter trio Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson as their number one pick! Read about it here and see what other characters made their list.

Last but not least we have some great gallery updates for you. We have added HQ photos of Rupert from Halloween as Clock-Work Orange. View them all beginning here.
