March 24th, 2013, 2:02am–After weeks of table reads and actual shooting of the pilot, we have our very first behind-the-scenes look of Rupert Grint as Clyde in Super Clyde, the CBS pilot he’s filming. It’s not much, but it gives us a small sense of what Clyde will dress like and what style hair he’ll have. We can also see Stephen Fry in the pic dressed up in his butler’s uniform. Maybe we can’t tell all that much, but it just makes us more excited to see the pilot. Keeping everything crossed that CBS picks it up! Check out the photo below or see the full size in our galleries here. And thanks @PeruRupertGrint for coming across this awesome pic!
UPDATE: We’re currently experiencing technical difficulties with our gallery and are working diligently to get it up and running again. In the mean time, please click on the picture to see the larger version!
UPDATE #2: We have another BTS picture of Rupert as Clyde along with Tyler Labine as Duke and Justine Lupe as Faith. You can view it below. (Our gallery is still being worked on, sorry for the inconvenience!)
March 21st, 10:43pm, 2013–The official facebook for CBGB movie released a short behind-the-scenes look of Rupert Grint on the set of the movie! In it you get to see a better shot of Rupert as Cheetah Chrome rocking out on stage with a scowl on his face and playing the guitar! We also see him in another behind-the-scenes moment signing a Harry Potter book for a fan. We also see that MTV was present on set as Rupert introduces himself using an MTV microphone (meaning hopefully MTV will release video interviews when the movie is released). You can see it all here. (Or watch it below!) Please don’t forget to like this! Let’s show them how much we love Rupert! Also featured in the video is Ashley Greene.
March 16, 2013, 3:47pm– Today, we are ready to bring something back that was very popular among all you lovely Rupert Grint fans a little while ago: our beloved forum. We have had it under construction for some time, but we finally think that it’s time to bring it back so that we can all discuss everything Rupert related in the same place. Rupert has so many projects recently finished, not yet released or just about to begin. So we want to discuss and analyze all of Rupert‘s projects with you all, whether it be his former projects like Harry Potter or Driving Lessons, or his new and exciting releases like CBGB or The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman, or the fact that Stephen Fry has just been confirmed to star alongside Rupert in Super Clyde. So join us and have some fun talking about everything and anything Rupert right HERE – it should be easy for everyone to sign up, but if you have any questions or problems, don’t hesitate to write us here in the comments or email us at email@example.com.
To start everyone off, why don’t we go to the forums and discuss Rupert‘s brilliant Scouse accent in Into the White, which is perfectly depicted in this new clip released from the film:
March 15th, 2013, 9:58pm–While some of the casting for Super Clyde has been low key, very exciting news has just hit the web. Stephen Fry has been cast as Randolph who is also the butler. (He has also been described as the handy man and uncle that lives with Clyde, Duke and Faith.) You can read all about this exciting casting news here at Deadline. For those who are keeping score, Stephen Fry and Rupert Grint have crossed paths in some way quite a few times. Mr. Fry was in Thunderpants and also appeared in the commercial for the come visit Britain campaign. He also narrated the British version of the Harry Potter books. Fans of the TV show Bones will also remember him as the lovable Gordon Gordon.
A few more roles have been casted in recent weeks, though these were more low key. Recently the role of Jolene, Clyde’s crush, has been cast in the form of Laura Catalina along with Andy Spencer as Mr. Phillips (his role is a mystery, but rumors are that Mr. Phillips is Clyde’s boss at the fast food restaurant.)
March 15 2013, 9:54am– We now have our very first footage of Rupert Grint rocking out on stage as Cheetah Chrome in CBGB – the movie’s official facebook page (remember to “Like” their page to show your excitement and support for the film) released this clip earlier today.
Check out the clip below – Rupert‘s appearance is a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, so keep a keen eye out for him (hint: don’t blink around the 0:30 mark).
We were able to grap a couple of screenshots from the few seconds and you can check them out in our gallery here.
