ICM Staffer Positions Now Open!

As ICM continues to grow, so does our need for more MAN-POWER!  That is why we have decided that additional staffers would be of best interest to our site so we can continue to bring you the latest and up to date Rupert Grint news.

NOW there are THREE STAFF POSITIONS available, so we need three dedicated individuals who have free time and can us help us keep the Rupert Empire thriving! We ask that before you apply please understand that this is a HUGE responsibility and we only want serious applicants to respond.

In order to assure we bring the right people on board for this position we have listed a detailed job description of what will be required of you in this role.

ICM STAFFER POSITION: As a staffer on ICM you will be required to take on numerous tasks and responsibilities, so the key things we need from you is:

Reliability, Communication and  Commitment.

Duties Include but not limited to:

• Daily access to the site: We need reliable individuals who can “for the most part” be available on a daily basis.  (We understand this is sometimes not possible which is fine because life committments do come first.)
• Computer Savvy: Basic knowledge of the internet is required! You will be using  google, wordpress, live-journal, myspace, face-book and other various news/blogging sites/sources for information.
• News Posting: You must be comfortable with writing and have good grammar skills because you will be posting news, or drafting up proposals if needed, emailing professionals and interacting with publicity and media outlets.
• Site Maintenance: You will need to learn your way around Coppermine gallery so you can upload latest images, update site pages and other site maintenance as needed.
• Technical Skills: Basic Software Knowledge. Although not required HTML experience is  a huge plus.
  
• Contribution: You will also contribute/donate funds for various site stuff when needed. This is not required but it is something we all do in order to keep the site in good shape.
• Creativity: This is most important. We need somebody who is creative and not afraid to jump right in and offer their own ideas and talents.

What is in it for you?: Being on the ICM team will give you many privileges that are extended to staffers for various events which include Rupert’s movie premieres as well as Harry Potter related events. You will also have the chance to learn a bit about the entertainment business and what goes on behind the scenes. Perfect for those who want to know more about the film industry and journalism.

Most importantly though, you need to be 100% interested in Rupert Grint or this won’t work out.

We don’t plan to throw you out to the dogs so no worries, TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.
