Ultimate Hogwarts Lego Building Challenge Judge, Grand Prize Winner Read About It Here!
Contestants each built a model of Hogwarts out of Lego pieces, and winning entries chosen were announced in the November/December 2004 issue of Lego Magazine. Dan and Emma chose the first prize winners, and Rupert the grand prize winner. Of the grand prize entry, Rupert said: “This stood out for me as it felt like Hogwarts was a really solid, grand castle – exactly as it’s meant to be. I also loved the detail in the Defense against the Dark Arts classroom, especially the addition of the office at the front.”

The Queen’s Birthday Celebration: Children’s Party at the Palace Attended together with Matthew Lewis and Emma Watson. They didn’t formally meet the Queen (although they did meet and talk to Sophie, Duchess of Wessex), but Rupert marveled at the fact that they got to sit in the Royal Box in front of the Queen and her family (June 25, 2006).
An Audience with Al Murray: Attended the show. Rupert was asked by Al Murray to get beer for him and other audience members, while taking one for himself. (James and Oliver Phelps were also in attendance, but they were not featured prominently.) The show aired on ITV1 in February 2005.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s ‘Christmas Spectacular’ Party, at Coram’s Field in central London: Rupert joins his HP co-star Tom Felton and a number of other celebrities to greet and play video games with the young patients. Rupert was seen playing games with a cute ginger boy called Keller and even joined in the festivities to have a dragon painted on his cheek. (December 2008)
Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day on BBC UK 2009: Rupert Grint joins HP co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson where they greet pupils from Parmiter’s School in Watford, England who visited the set of Deathly Hallows as a treat for raising a record-breaking amount of money for Red Nose Day.
