March 12, 2010, 7:07 am– We have exciting news to share with you:
To promote Rupert Grint’s upcoming film Cherrybomb in the United Kingdom, the promotion team around the film will be interviewing Rupert and his co-star Robert Sheehan, and they want your questions!

So, please submit the questions you would like to ask the Cherrybomb cast over the course of this weekend, either by sending the to us, or by posting them in this thread ! You can ask anything you want, and the best questions will be chosen and asked.

Send us your questions until Monday morning 6 am EST, so we can put them together and send them over to the Cherrybomb team!
We will eventually share the interview with you here on the site!

Is that all? No! We have more exciting news on the way, so stay tuned!

March 12, 2010, 3:46 am–-While we soak in the latest news of  Rupert Grint and his amazing photo-shoot with NO. Magazine we thought we would take the time to touch more on the interview portion as he reveals quite a bit about his feelings on his career and the direction he is headed for the future.  Some of his quotes are really honest and have touched many of us. We support you Rupert 100% and  look forward to seeing what you are going to do 2010 and beyond! It is after all The Year of Grint re-loaded or in this case The Re-Invention!

In this exclusive interview with NO. Magazine Rupert says…

I never got to push myself, so I was quite worried about doing Cherrybomb because there’s a lot going on with this character. It was a real challenge. The accent as well, because it’s a Northern Irish accent, so it was quite worrying…especially because the crew was all from Belfast.”

And if you guys remember we explained “Eddie The Eagle” was not a rumor and so now you finally get to read Rupert actually mention the project himself in this quote….

Next up, Grint has been strongly rumoured to play Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards in a biopic of the most celebrated, undecorated ski-jumper in the history of the sport. Grint quips that though he can’t ski, this may actually be a good attribute to have for the film. Filming will start for the movie once Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows wraps.

March 10th, 2010, 8:51 pm– We just revealed that Rupert Grint would be featured in New Zealand’s NO Magazine edition NO.9, called RE-INVENTION which is “all about people who decided to start over and do something different with their lives”. Well Rupert’s reps were right when they said we’d be blown away by these photos. Decked out in leather, hoodies and even shorts he is looking mighty fine!! I think fans will be very happy. So let’s not keep you waiting. The first scans are hot off the press and available in our gallery here. We will be sure to update you with any new information as it comes in. March 10, 2010, 4:13 am–- We have just received word that Rupert Grint is most likely going to attend the BFI IMAX Premiere of Chasing Cotards!
Chasing Cotards is “the biggest short film of all times”, and stars Andrew Scott and Olivia Grant (who was featured in the March issue of InStyle along with Rupert). For more information, including the announcement of Rupert’s attendance, click here.
Rupert has been approached by the Chasing Cotards team “because we know he is an admirer of independent films and ambitious projects”, and will join David Yates and David Barron on the red carpet on April 24 – if his filming schedule permits this of course.

March 9, 2010, 5:38 am– We have just received word from Rupert Grint’s representatives that Rupert has done yet another photoshoot! He will be featured with a “brilliant profile feature” in the next edition of NO Magazine, which will be out this week!
While their website is currently under construction, you can get an impression of their shoots on their Facebook page (see their Fotos).

In every artist there is a story. NO. talks to creative people about what they create and their successes, but also the screw-ups, compromises, loves, vices, friendships, influences and experiences that make them who they are.

To quote Rupert’s reps about the profile feature: “You’ll be blown away”. That certainly sounds exciting, doesn’t it?
NO is a magazine from New Zealand, and we will let you know soon where you can buy it.

UPDATE: Rupert will be featured in edition NO.9, called REINVENTION! It is “all about people who decided to start over and do something different with their lives” (quoting their Twitter @NOmagazine). Exciting!

UPDATE 3: This issue will be on shelves in New Zealand on Thursday, and in Australia about two weeks after that. With No Magazine being relatively new, they don’t yet have international distributors, but anyone wanting to

copy to be shipped directly to your door.

March 7, 2010, 7:08 AM– Rupert Grint’s co-star Bill Nighy has talked to ITN about working with Rupert both in Wild Target and in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!
He said:

“I was very pleased to be in it and pleased to work with Daniel, Rupert and Emma and with David Yates the director.”

About Wild Target, he explained about his co-stars Emily Blunt and Rupert:

“The three of us are in a film called Wild Target where I play an assassin and Rupert plays my apprentice.”

March 4, 2010, 9:33 am– We have just received word from the publicity team of Rupert Grint’s upcoming film Cherrybomb that the release date has just been pushed back to the 23 April 2010! So you might have to wait a little longer to see Rupert Grint, Robert Sheehan and Kimberley Nixon on screen.
The previously announced date is still up for Rupert’s other film Wild Target, so if you have already planned to come to the UK, it will still be worth it!

Let us know if you are planning to attend either of the premieres, so we can organise a meet-up! We will also let you know about any further updates on both films.

March 3rd, 2010, 1:00 AM-Several out-takes of Rupert Grint and his Harry Potter co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson are available online from their exclusive photo-shoot with Entertainment Weekly back in July 2009. We are adding the photos in our galleries and will hopefully obtain untagged HQ versions but none-the-less these alone are adorable and will tide you over while news is slow. And in other news.. And we just wanted to update you on Eddie The Eagle. Remember we confirmed this project back in November 2009 and nothing has fell through. In-fact things are moving along nicely.. Negotiations are almost finalized and now the company working on the production side of things have started mentioning Rupert and his involvement…. Rupert’s camp told us they are ironing out a few more things. Keep an eye on IMDB as Rupert’s page is updated a lot recently now listing him as the main cast for Eddie. They also have some trivia too.

As we promised, you’ll finally get to see the “Are You Ron’s Biggest Wheezy” contest winners’ entries-read Amu’s amazing prize-winning essay and see exactly why her entry was chosen. You can also read the runners-up-Aracelli and Jasmine-essays as well. As you’ll remember, there was also a second portion of the contest where the winner(s) would contribute another work of art! You’ll get to see those in the April edition of Grintastic. In the mean time, peruse their wonderful essays and don’t forget to leave comments, praise, congratulations for them on the pages!
