Rupert Grint: My CBGB Review!

cbgb icon2Rupert Grint: My CBGB Review!September 8th, 2013, 12:39am–While you were still recovering from those wonderful FHM pictures, I was watching CBGB (and yes still recovering from those pictures as well!) as it is now available on DirecTV. For those who are able to get Directv Cinema, you can watch it any time you want until October 2nd. But if you’re unable to I have complied a VERY spoilery review of the movie. It’s heavily Rupert Grint related where I describe every scene Rupert is in. In the rest though I do give an honest opinion about the movie (fantastic) and some of the actors such as Stana Katic, Ashley Greene, and of course Alan Rickman. You can read my (again very spoilery) review here.

I’m willing to answer any questions you may have to the best of my ability. So hit me up in the comments if you have any! And I hope you enjoy the review.

Online Petition to get Rupert Grint as the 12th Doctor!

RupertNewsIconOnline Petition to get Rupert Grint as the 12th Doctor!June 6th, 2013, 2:28pm– We are all waiting eagerly for Rupert Grint‘s next project to be announced. And while we wait, we have decided to start an online petition to get Rupert the role as the next Doctor in the iconic show Doctor Who.

Matt Smith has just announced that he is leaving the show at the end of this season, and this means that the creators are looking for the right actor to become the 12th doctor. Several articles have appeared mentioning Rupert as one of the front-runners to take over after Matt Smith.

Our petition is just a fun way for all the fans to show their support and have their voices heard. But who knows? If this petition gets a lot of signatures, it might get noticed by some people who have say in this decision. So SIGN the petition and SPREAD the word – we want as many names as possible on this list.

Whether its £5 to fund some crayons and colouring books whilst waiting for test results, or £42,000 for a life saving machine that operates as a mechanical heart. Charitable donations are key to making us what we are: a centre of paediatric excellence that the whole country depends on. Exclusive Interview with Rupert Grint at Berlinale! Exclusive Interview with Rupert Grint at Berlinale!February 15, 2013, 4:14 pm– This past weekend, Rupert Grint attended the International Premiere of The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman at Berlin Film Festival and not only walked the Red Carpet, but also participated in a Press Call on Sunday. Four of our staffers had the chance to interview him, and Rupert answered our questions about his character Karl and the film, and once again participated in a photo interview like last year in Oslo.

“And my character was quite a challenge, I suppose, although he is only a tiny part of the film, the character kept changing.
Originally, in the script, I was German and I got my head around playing a German person, but in the end, there were so many accents in the film that they thought it would be too much, so they went away from that version.
I was a virgin at one point, which would have been another weird direction there. So it was a lot of work figuring out who I was.”

You can read the full interview here, and the photo interview here. (Note that the last question was four days before the news of Super Clyde…)

We know that you not only like to read his interviews, so you can find HQ pictures from our interview in our Gallery, and an audio on our youtube channel, or enjoy the video below:

Since all four of us had the opportunity to watch the movie (twice), we also have finished our review chat – although we must give out a warning that we cover adult themes as is the case in the film. If you’re of age, you may read it here. In case you have any questions about the film or our review, simply use the comments to ask.

And finally, Jessica, the lucky winner of our competition for two tickets to the premiere, has also written up a short report about her experience, which you can read here!

We would like to thank Rupert for taking the time and for giving us such a great time in Berlin, and to his team, esp. “Bonnie” and “Hamish” for making this happen! 😉
