Rupert Grint in New Photoshoot Image from 2014!

PhotoshootNewsIconJanuary 28th, 2015, 1:58pm– be96ce30-9c92-11e4-b899-bc764e0868a6 News has been extremely slow since Rupert Grint had his final performance in It’s Only a Play at the beginning of the month, but today a pleasant little surprise has popped up.

Photographer Jessie Craig has linked to an online auction where you can buy a beautiful picture she took of Rupert in 2014. The photoshoot took place in February of last year in a BAFTA-themed photoshoot for Wonderland Magazine. At the time, we did see a behind-the-scenes video (watch here!) but we never actually saw the finished product emerge.

So we are thrilled that they have decided to put this beautiful photograph online and on auction – it’s quite stunning. See it in its full size here. Let’s cross our fingers that more images from this shoot appear online at some point.

In other news, it has been announced that CBS will give the Super Clyde pilot another try. All reports so far point to the fact that Rupert will not be involved with this project. We have of course checked with his reps and will post immediately if they let us know otherwise.

Rupert Grint Will Not Be In Extended It’s Only A Play Run!

It'sOnlyAPlayIcon2November 24th, 2014, 10:08pm–Early this month we had learned that ‘It’s Only A Play‘ was going to extend its run on Broadway through March 29th. Rumors swirled later that Rupert Grint would not be a part of the extended run, and we found out from his reps that unfortunately he may not continue due to other obligations. Tonight, Broadway.com has confirmed that along with his co-stars Nathan Lane and now also Megan Mullally, Rupert will end his run on January 4th. So you only have more than a month left to see Rupert as Frank Finger. We at Rupert-Grint.us can confirm, he’s absolutely brilliant in this part. If you get the chance, it’s a must see! You can still buy tickets through the official site. There is no word yet on who will be replacing Rupert at this.

Rupert Grint: It’s Only A Play Extended Until March 29th 2015!

It'sOnlyAPlayIcon2November 6th, 2014, 5:37pm– Tonight, it was announced that It’s Only a Play, with Rupert Grint playing director Frank Finger, will extend its run. Originally, the play was scheduled to close on January 4th 2015 but now the cast and crew have signed on for a short extension – the play will now close on March 29th 2015.

Martin Short will replace Nathan Lane after January 4th but the rest of the cast will continue to reprise their original roles. From January 7th (the first performance with Martin Short) and until January 18th the play will be housed at its current location, the Gerald Schoenfeld Theater, but from January 23 the play will transfer to its new home, the Bernard B. Jacobs Theater.

Although we’ll miss the amazing Nathan Lane, who is just perfect as James Wicker, we can’t wait to see how Rupert will interact with Martin Short – we can only imagine it’ll be absolutely hilarious.

UPDATE: There has been a lot of talk about whether or not Rupert will be a part of the extended run of It’s Only a Play. Rupert’s reps can’t confirm if he will continue in the play just yet, so we all need to cross our fingers that Rupert’s schedule will allow him to stay on until March 29.
But please note that nothing has been confirmed yet – we will of course update when we get official word on this.
