Happy New Year!

CXjp-lvUkAADRDgHappy New Year!December 31st, 2015, 6:23pm–The year of 2015 started off with Rupert in his last few weeks of playing Sir Frank Finger in It’s Only A Play where Rupert also earned two broadway.com audience awards in Favorite Featured Actor In A Play and Favorite Breakthrough Performance (Male). He also appeared in Tom Felton’s documentary “Tom Felton Meets The Super Fans.” And while a lot of acting gigs didn’t come up much, there were quite a few notable exceptions. Rupert took on the role of August “Gustl” Kubizek, Hitler’s best friend in the early years of his adult life in a TV movie titled “The Artist.” Rupert also did another variety show playing “himself” on The Tracey Ullman Show. During this time it was also announced that NBC had a put pilot agreement (meaning that NBC must show the pilot) for the 2016/2017 TV season in which it was reported that he’ll also serve as producer. Rupert will be playing a character named Rupert, whose father created a comic book series titled Imperial City. The character discovers that the whole place is real! He also lent his voice to the Tom Gates book series. And while Rupert didn’t have a lot of projects going on in 2015, he certainly used up his time well. He once again attended the Starlight Charity Christmas Party at Downing Street. As you may remember, Rupert has served as ambassador for this great cause last year. That’s not the only charity he supported this year! He once again attended The Pride of Britain AwardsWe Are Macmillan Cancer Support which held the largest fundraising event, the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, where Rupert submitted a recipe: Stem Ginger and Chocolate Biscuits! He, along with the Phelps twins and Tom Felton, attended Canadian Fan Expo where he signed autographs and posed for pictures with Harry Potter fans! Rupert also did some promotion for Moonwalkers appearing at the SXSW Festival to support the film as well as doing a live interview with the Japanese promoters of the film.

Rupert’s 2016 so far looks amazing. As mentioned earlier, Rupert will be working on his untitled comic book drama sometime (probably early) this year. Moonwalkers will be out in US theaters and Netflix on January 15th and will also be hitting theaters in France (March 3rd) and Belgium (January 27th) with additional countries to come! And while we don’t know the extent of promotion – or if they’ll be any – we hope that Rupert will be doing some rounds for the film. As noted it was announced in 2015 that Rupert would star in an untitled NBC comic book drama in the states. While there is no concrete date set, these things usually start filming early in the new year. Rupert will also be taking part in A Harry Potter Celebration at the Wizarding World in Orland, FL along side many of his Harry Potter co-stars. We can’t wait to see what else the new year will bring!

Ice Cream Man also had a great 2015! We gave the press archives a new look which is absolutely stunning, but one of our biggest moments for the site was the relaunch of the media site! We have over 1,500 videos thus far and always adding more. This is one of our best efforts of the media site and we couldn’t be more proud of the effort and hope that you’ve enjoyed it as much as we did rebuilding it! And while a lot of the year was quiet just like Rupert’s year was, we hope to bring you the very best in 2016! We strive to bring you the latest Rupert news and have the most extensive website for him. It’s been well over 10 years since our launch, and it’s been quite the ride! And we hope we’re here for many more years to come for Rupert and all the fans.

Everyone at Ice Cream Man wishes Rupert and his family and all the fans a Happy New Year and we hope you had a great holiday season!

Rupert Grint to appear on The Tracey Ullman Show on January 11!

OtherProjectNewsRupert Grint to appear on The Tracey Ullman Show on January 10!December 29th, 2015, 2:54pm– Rupert Grint is set to appear as a special guest on The Tracey Ullman Show on January 11th in the very first episode of the series – what a great way to start off the new year, eh?

The show will air on BBC One at 10.45pm-11.15pm.

Here’s a summary of Rupert’s episode:

Treats in this episode include a delinquent Dame Judi Dench, a dangerously accident-prone massage therapist and Sally Preston, the feminist MP whose election pledge to remain topless throughout her term is starting to present challenges. There’s also a foot-tapping love song to Britain’s local libraries, and Angela Merkel as you’ve never seen her before. With a guest star appearance from Rupert Grint.

BBC One also released a small teaser for the show so that we can get extra excited:

Rupert Grint attends Starlight Charity Christmas Party at Downing Street!

EventsNewsIconRupert Grint attends Starlight Charity Christmas Party at Downing Street!December 15th, 2015, 11:05am– ChristmasParty2015-5 Today, Rupert Grint is attending a christmas party at 11 Downing Street for the Starlight Charity. This party brings an array of famous people to Downing Street where they can meet and honour the seriously ill children that are attending as well.

You might remember that Rupert attended this party two years ago where he met Callum and gave him some impressive Christmas presents. Take a trip back to 2013 here.

This charity has a special place in Rupert’s heart and he even became an Ambassador for the Starlight Children Foundation last year. We absolutely love seeing Rupert support this amazing charity time and time again.

Pictures are slowly starting to appear and we’ll be continously uploading them in our gallery here.

UPDATE: We now have 25 beautiful HQ photos of today’s event in our gallery which you can view here!

Launch of our new Rupert Grint Media!

ExclusiveNewsIconLaunch of our new Rupert Grint Media!November 16th, 2015, 11:49am– While news about Rupert Grint’s projects are slowly picking up again, we are happy to finally welcome back our long-gone Media Site! Not only is it back, but it is more practical, larger, and much better than any of our previous versions.

About three years ago, we decided to discontinue the “old” Media Site (you had to download the clips before enjoying them) and planned to bring you a revamped version. Throughout this time, we tried out several different programs, but neither of them met our needs or ran smoothly enough, until we finally found one at the beginning of this year.

So we used the quiet-on-the-Rupert-front time to create the largest Media Site about Rupert Grint, holding over 1.500 videos and audios ready to be viewed and listened to, from the most recent trailers for Moonwalkers all the way back to the first Harry Potter Press Conference in the year 2000! And Thanks to Courtney from DesignsByCordy, the new Media Site has also a wonderful layout!

So head over to our Media Site now:
