Major Updates On Rupert Grint’s Rave Reviews!

January 11th, 2011, 4:30pm–While we’re having down time from Rupert Grint news, we have been focusing on trying to make the website better by bringing everything up-to-date, trying to figure on new features to add, and so on. Today we bring you an update on our Rave Reviews section, a pet project I started some years ago to gather all the amazing reviews Rupert receives for his various film roles. Too often Rupert is overlooked so I wanted to collect all the critic praise, which he receives so much of, to show off what an amazing young actor he is.

In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, Rupert received some of his biggest kudos for his dark turn in the movie. Over the past few days I’ve compiled a list, that will undoubtedly grow when the DVD receives new reviews, of the amazing comments from critics. You can view that list here.

I also added some more Wild Target reviews which you can view here. The new ones start with Film Fracture.

Speaking of Wild Target, a trailer for the DVD has been released and contains some new scenes from the movie for those who may not have seen it yet. You can watch it here. And don’t forget, the film comes to Blu-Ray and DVD on February 8th. You can now purchase the film at Amazon here and here.

Rupert Grint: Red Carpet Interviews from Worldwide Media!

November 12th, 2010, 3:52 AM– The Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows-Part 1 World Premiere fever is slowly cooling down. And more interviews from media around the world of main cast namely Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson from the red carpet are making its way online.

Firstly  News.com.au have done their red carpet coverage of the London Premiere and their article can be seen here. It  contains snippets of interviews with the main cast.

Rupert had to say this about his future-

Grint — the 22-year-old who plays Ron Weasley — wore a black suit and said that he was looking forward to moving on from Harry Potter as fans chanted his name. “It’s been ten years, so it’s time to move on. I’m just looking forward to having fun. I heard that people camped outside over night — it’s crazy!”

We also found some more videos on youtube. The first one is during Newsround where Emma speaks about helping serve Icecream with Rupert on their last day of filming, courtesy of heartwatson. The second is a nice round up of the Deathly Hallows London Premiere. You can see both here and here.

Australia’s free-to-air channels SEVEN, NINE  and TEN  have all covered the Premiere and each of them have interviewed the stars. Check out the videos here, here and here to see Rupert’s comments on the series coming to an end and his future plans.

Finally, look at this wonderful picture of the Trio at the premiere. Click on it for a larger version.

UPDATE: The lovely people of Absolute Radio has passed on a video of them talking to Rupert Grint. In this he explains how emotional he was on his final day on set and the various  changes in Ron Weasley’s character. You can view that video here.

Look out for more updates coming your way from our staff’s exclusive coverage of the London Premiere. And you can still book you tickets for the Deathly Hallows via the Fandango Banner on our site.

Rupert Grint:Deathly Hallows first set of Press Reviews!

November 11th, 2010, 6:42pm — As we are still rounding off the High Quality pictures of Rupert Grint and his co-stars from the red carpet event of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Part 1 and loading them to our galleries, we thought you would be interested in reading some of the reviews that have been up.

The first is from Telegraph UK who have reviewed the movie here. About Rupert, this is what their reviewer had to say -

“We have watched these three growing up and their performances have never been better – particularly Grint, who gets the opportunity to do more than just play for laughs. His jealousy of the friendship between Harry and Hermione feels entirely real.”

And you can see the clip where they have spoke to Rupert here.

This is the a breif review we have received from an ICMér  Georg. Thank you mate!

“Definitely the most sophisticated film of the HP Series up to date, technically really perfect. Also very ‘dark’ not only because of the black colours in Malfoy Manor or Grimmauld Place but also because of the depressing situation the Three are caught in. However not a family movie anymore – too frightening for the kids. And if you hadn’t read the books before seeing the film, you have no chance to understand what’s going on. But the HP fans will love all the details which were skipped in the films before.”

Stay tuned because we will surely have more to report! :-)

UPDATE:  You can now see a Danish interview of the Rupert alongwith Dan and Emma here.  Thank you Malene! :-)

UPDATE#1: You can now see the first of the MANY HQ pictures of the premiere in our Gallery here. We will have loads more coming your way. :-)

Now if you haven’t booked your tickets for the movie, then the above reviews might help you to do so. All you have to do is click on Fandango Banner on the left side of this page.

Rave Reviews For Cherrybomb, Wild Target – Plus Vote For Rupert Grint!

September 14th, 2010, 5:01pm–It may have seemed like rave reviews for Rupert Grint‘s non-Potter movies Cherrybomb and Wild Target stopped coming in, but with the diligence of several fans and staffer Anna‘s translation of French reviews for Wild Target, we have several to bring to you – some praising Rupert so much, you’ll be grinning from ear to ear! You can read some below!

Cherrybomb catches the audience as a clever bit of cinema between drama and thriller. Especially with its first-class trio of young actors in which Grint scintillates as a veteran of acting.
A successful change of image.
Conclusion: Well done teen thriller starring grown up Potter-sidekick Grint”

You can read the rest of the Cherrybomb reviews, starting with Attitude Magazine, here at our Rave Reviews site (which recently got its own domain).

“As much as I’m sad to see one of the great franchises, Harry Potter (with the exception of the first two films, which sucked, rot in hell, Chris Columbus) come to a close, it’s really nice to see Rupert Grint free to work on other projects…”

You can read the rest of this Wild Target review and the 6 other ones – starting with Suite 101 – posted here.

In other news, Portrait Magazine has a new poll out listing the most beautiful actors. Rupert is currently very low on the list as we have just learned about it, so please vote for him here. You can also vote for Rupert as the best dressed here with Glamour Magazine!

Thanks Melina, Kathy, Anna and Holly!
