This is what Rupert said about Ron Weasley:

Q. Would you change Ron if you could?

A. He’s always been quite cool. I suppose maybe if he was a bit braver, occasionally. A few more heroic moments would be quite cool.

Q. Do you think the movie Ron or the book Ron is more like you?

A. I suppose the movie Ron, really. It was – it is me, really.

July 15th, 2011, 10:47am–In the continuity of Harry Potter and The Deathy Hallows movie release. ABC News has written their own Review and published an interview with Rupert Grint.

“As Harry, Hermione and Ron, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint have grown up on screen, tumbling up like stems from seedlings, transforming from cute kids into captivating actors with the help of a supremely talented cast.

Even if you know how the final showdown goes down, you’ll hold your breath. Two hours fly by. No one wants it to end. But so it goes, and this film is an epic farewell”.

You can read the rest on their site here and the interview just below.

If you have missed the update in our last news. MTV has released a new short video with Rupert and Tom Felton

Rupert Grint : New Interviews, Videos And Reviews

» July 14 by Anna in HP News, Rave Reviews, Rupert News with 7 Comments

July 14th, 2011, 12:16pm–Today we have a few nice Rupert Grint goodies to share with you. Firstly, MTV have published yet another interview with Rupert on the red carpet in New York, in which he talks about the end of the Harry Potter time and comes up with a new plan for the time after Potter. If you were there during the LiveStream you certainly already seen it.

You can watch the video below.

Second video come from Shockya.com

And last video. Website Collider.com has a brend new 11minutes interview with our man. Don’t miss it, Rupert is absolutely adorable in this one.

Now for the transcripted interviews you can read 2 of them on different website. The first one there is more things to read than the second, which is from Teen.Hollywood and then Metro.co.uk.

Finally some cool reviews about Rupert and his performance in Harry Potter. The first one is from The Seatle Times.
And how nice that the film’s penultimate moment is a quiet one, as Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) stand alone together outside Hogwarts, finally exhaling; you wish they could take a well-deserved bow.

Then CBC News.
Of the three central heroes, I’ve found actor Rupert Grint the most interesting to watch. While fans may not find his Ron as dreamy as Dan Radcliffe’s Harry, his character’s anger and frustration at this chaotic wizard world seems to burn the brightest. Still, in the transformation department, Matthew Lewis nearly steals the show as the cardigan-wearing champion Neville Longbottom. He is the Thomas the Tank Engine of the
Potterverse, who just keeps chug-chug-chugging along, regardless of the stakes.

And finally Times Online. Director David Yates, who also helmed “Part 1,” delivers excitement in a crisp running time of 130 minutes, but strangely, he never gives Radcliffe’s Harry a major confrontation for the viewers to applaud. Grint’s Ron and Watson’s Hermione face a similar problem, since they run
across the screen numerous times but never have a defining action momentthat would delight their fans.

That may be a minor quibble, but Grint and Watson bring so much energy to the narrative that one wishes they had more challenging moments on screen. The two certainly deserved them.

Later we will post our whole coverage with pictures and videos of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows part 2 Premiere in London and NY.

Rupert Grint: Growing up on a filmset!

» July 10 by Kathy in HP News, Rave Reviews, Rupert News with 3 Comments

July 10th, 2011, 6:10am–
htrnews.com took a look on the life of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. How they grew up on the Harry Potter filmset and how they developed from young kids who are first kids then actors to young adults who just love to act. They also try to find out what kept the young cast on the ground all the time and how their life will be in the future.

“Cast as impressionable children in Hollywood’s biggest fantasy franchise, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and their many young co-stars have maneuvered through 11 years of fame — and the temptations it brings — without any whispers of Lindsay Lohan-style meltdowns that can derail child actors.

They’ve grown up smart, humble, polite and professional, eager to balance modest private lives with productive acting careers rather than leap into the party-till-dawn celebrity lifestyle.”

To read the whole article just go over to our press archive.

Thanks to Maria we also have a nice comment about Rupert’s performence in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 made by The guardian.

“Once again the cast seem to have kicked things up a notch; the acting is the best it has been since the release of the first film in 2001. The development of Rupert Grint’s Ron Weasley, which began in the last film, culminates in a truly impressive performance: a brief but painfully poignant scene where he breaks down upon witnessing a family tragedy leaves the cinema in eerie silence punctuated only by some sniffing. I suspect there might be a few damp eyes hidden behind the 3D glasses.”

And who wouldn’t agree to heatworld:

“But we will say, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint absolutely shine in this film. And if you don’t come out fancying Rupert (Ron) a little, we’ll be very surprised.”

Don’t forget to keep an eye on our review page, as we will continue to add all comments we will find about Rupert. If you find one please feel free to send it over to us. Language doesn’t matter.

UPDATE: An other article published by arts.nationalpost.com has surfaced:

“Of course, this last instalment in the series also features the long-awaited kiss between Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint), while their burgeoning relationship offers much needed comic relief from the unrelenting tension.

“We go off on this little adventure together,” Watson says. “It’s kind of like a comedy act because it’s the first time that you see them in tune.

“I really enjoyed the experience. Rupert is a great comedic actor, and so we had a really good time bringing the humour out of everything that we could.”

New interview with Rupert Grint!

» July 8 by Kathy in Gallery, HP News, Rave Reviews, Rupert News with 6 Comments

July 7th, 2011, 9:45 am–A new interview has surfaced online today. Amy Kaufman from Los Angeles Times – HERO COMPLEX had the opportunity to speak with Rupert Grint.

You’ll find the whole interview in our press archive here.

AK: Have you felt pressure about choosing your post-”Potter” roles?
RG: Not so much really. This last movie just came up, and I was quite game to do something different. It’s just a new challenge. It all kind of made sense. … It’s called “Comrade,” and it’s about a true story set in World War II about two English pilots and three German pilots. They both shoot each other down in the middle of Norway, and they find each other in this old cabin thing, and it’s how our relationship with each other changes. We go into survival mode and put the war aside and we become friends, so it’s quite cool. … It was very different — extremely different. We filmed it in Norway on top of a mountain in crazy weather. It was minus-25 with snow everywhere. It was quite extreme. It was a very different filming experience. … It was a true story. These were real people. World War II always felt like quite an interesting part of history.

AK: It sounds heavy, a departure from your more comedic work.
RG: I’m pretty much kind of up for anything really — anything that’s kind of a bit of an interesting character always appeals to me.

We also have a nice comment from heatworld.com about Rupert’s appearance on the red carptet of the Harry potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 premiere yesterday to share with you.

…And then there was lovely, shy Rupert Grint, who was actually quite prompt in his arrival (well done Rupert) – but he still managed to spend almost four hours actually walking the red carpet, talking to fans – impressive by anyone’s standards…

Yeah, that sounds like Rupert how we know and love him :)

Don’t forget to keep an eye on our gallery, we will uploading lots of pictures our staffer Karo and Anna took yesterday through the whole day.
