Ice Cream Man is an unofficial - though very professional and extremely good looking! - fansite, dedicated to the gorgeous and talented Rupert Grint. Alas, we are in no way affiliated with Rupert, his family or representatives. (*sob*) The site is ad-free and non-profit. July 24th, 2011, 6:42pm–It’s good to know that while Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is still making box office rounds that we have tons of stuff to keep posting on Rupert Grint. Today we have a video released by EA Games who produces the video games for the Harry Potter series. In it he talks about how much he enjoys voicing the video game though for him it’s weird to play himself and hear his voice while he’s playing it! You can watch the video here.
We also have another great treat for you. A few days before the world premiere of the very last Harry Potter movie Rupert Grint partook in a photo session at a press conference to promote the film. You can see these HQ images in our galleries here.
July 17th, 2011, 3:50pm–We’re busy working on our coverage from the New York Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 premiere, so bare with us as we get all the current coverage from media around the world. Right now though we can share with you scans of Rupert Grint in That Magazine right here. Which has a short article and many, many pictures. Thanks to Sibylle for the scans!
Also thanks to Renee we have three outtakes from the Entertainment Weekly shoot that Rupert and his Harry Potter co-stars participated in some time back to promote Deathly Hallows part 2 which you can view here.
Speaking of which, did you know that DH2 has the all time opening weekend gross at the box office? It has beat out The Dark Knight with 168.5 million dollars! Way to go Harry Potter!
July 2nd, 2011, 11:26pm–Remember when Rupert Grint was photographed in the skeleton sweater a few weeks back on the streets of London? Looks like he was there for an interview and photoshoot with The Gauardian’s Observer to promote Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. Rupert talks on an array of subjects with quotes from castmates and others talking about who he is as a person. It is quite a good read with lots of talk about Rupert’s laid back attitude and some new tidbits about his life.
“Any slower and he’d be in reverse,” so says his on-screen brother James Phelps. And co-star Matthew Lewis says, “Nothing fazes him.”
Other awesome tidbits? Rupert calls his father, Nigel, “Nige” where Matt says that Rupert’s done that for as long as he can remember; that it’s just Rupert’s way. And also, after being press by the interviewer about his first impression of Dan after their first meeting, he says: “I remember thinking,” says Grint, grinning brilliantly, “that this guy has a really triangular-shaped head.”
You can read the entire article here (it’s well worth the long read!) and see the image that went along with the it here.
June 30th, 2011, 11:33am–This week US mag Entertainment Weekly will be honoring the Harry Potter series by releasing a special double issue about the entire franchise. There will be profiles and exclusive pics of Rupert Grint and his Harry Potter co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson. As well as special behind-the-scenes look at the final film. And of course a detailed account of the “19 years later” epilogue. Rupert is quoted with a bit more talk of looking like Donald Trump: “I looked really overweight, and with this weird feathered hairpiece they put on me, I looked like a mutant Donald Trump.”
The magazine is available this Friday and if anyone can send us scans please don’t hesitate to send them over! And you can view the EW images here.
