Rupert Grint: Alchemy Takes North American Rights To Moonwalkers!

MoonwalkersIcon1March 16th, 2015, 12:04pm–Just two days after its premiere, Alchemy, formally known as, Millennium Entertainment, has taken North American rights to Rupert Grint‘s Moonwalkers according to Variety, Screen International, and Deadline. No word yet on release date, but with it being bought this quickly is it definitely a good sign for a release sometime this year. We’re still waiting on reviews for the film, however we do have a few! You can check out the three that are already up at our Rave Reviews section here. We’ll continue to update the section as soon as we get more reviews which will hopefully be coming soon.

UPDATE: We now have 13 HQ photos of Rupert at the SXSW premiere here. Partizan also released another clip on their instagram. It focuses more on Ron Perlman, but Rupert is seen briefly. You can see it here.

Rupert Grint Attends North American Premiere of Moonwalkers at SXSW!

moonwalkersicon2Marth 15th, 2015, 1:42am–Rupert Grint joined his fellow Moonwalkers co-stars Robert Sheehan and Ron Perlman for the North American premiere of the film at SXSW. We have plenty of pictures from the event which you can view here. We will have HQ photos as soon as possible. And we’re expecting plenty of reviews to follow. Twitter users are already singing the praises of the film and Rupert! Stay tuned!

Rupert Grint in first Moonwalkers clip!

MoonwalkersIcon1March 13th, 2015, 2:24pm– While we are counting down the hours until we get to see Rupert Grint at the Moonwalkers premiere tomorrow, Partizan has released the very first clip from the film to get us even more excited.

The clip shows the first meeting between Rupert’s character, Jonny, and Ron Perlman‘s character, Kidman. Check it out:

Partizan also released a mini teaser on their Instagram earlier today – just a few seconds to get us in a Moonwalking mood. You can see that here.

Remember to check back tomorrow – Rupert will be attending the world premiere of Moonwalkers at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. We’ll probably get loads of goodies in the form of interviews and pictures, as well as a bromantic reunion between Rupert and Robert Sheehan on the red carpet. We can’t wait!

Rupert Grint To Appear In Fan Documentary!

RupertNewsIconFebruary 17th, 2015, 3:22pm–Not long ago Tom Felton revealed that he was putting together a documentary about the fans of Harry Potter. There had been some comments that Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe would be a part of this. Today, speaking to Just Jared, Tom revealed the details and that not only Rupert and Daniel, but J.K. Rowling as well, will be talking candidly in interviews that were conducted for the documentary. There is currently no set date, though Tom indicated he hoped it would be in either April or May. We do know, however, that it will be televised on BBC3. When we have more information, we will update you!

In other, maybe not so great news, according to Deadline, Rupert will not be a part of the new Super Clyde pilot. While this isn’t official, Deadline is usually pretty accurate in their reporting.

UPDATE: It has just been revealed that Rupert’s Moonwalkers will be receiving its North American premiere at the SXSW film festival!
The film is scheduled to be screened three times during the festival (and will run 107 minutes) – here’s all the info:

Saturday, March 14 – 9pm – at the Alamo Ritz
Tuesday, March 17 – 2pm – at the Alamo Lamar B
Thursday, March 19 – 10.15pm – at the Sattelite Venue: Marchesa

We will let you know whether Rupert will be attending the world premiere as soon as we can. Stay tuned!

UPDATE #2: We’ve just received word that Rupert will probably not be attending this event. If anything changes though, we will let you know.

Rupert Grint: News Roundup!

RupertNewsIconDecember 21st, 2014, 1:15am–First off, Rupert Grint will soon be leaving his Broadway stint in It’s Only A Play on January 4th, so if you haven’t gotten tickets you need to hurry! Rupert will be replaced by Community actor Maulik Pancholy. We know it’s big shoes to fill, but we’re sure, Mr. Pancholy will do great!

Secondly, if you have poked around our social media outlets, you may have noticed this little gem of a photo! This is a brand new still from Moonwalkers. There is still no date on when this film will be released, but we’ll let you know any and all news we come across.

Thirdly, for those in the UK or those who can play Region 2 DVDs, The Unbeatables will be out on February 9th, 2015! There is some talk of a blu-ray, but unfortunately there has been no links on amazon for it. If it does come out on this format, we’ll again let you know!

Lastly, but not least, Rupert will be honoring Julie Walters in a special that will air on the BBC on Christmas Eve! More info can be found here. We’ll have a video as soon as it’s available!
