As a bonus, we have also uploaded two new versions of the recent photoshoot Rupert took part in for The New York Times where they focused on the new talent on Broadway this fall season. You can view those images in our gallery here.

Rupert Grint: “It’s Only a Play” Interview Roundup!

IOAP Icon1Rupert Grint: “It’s Only a Play” Interview Roundup!September 2nd, 2014, 2:54pm– The first week of performances are now over and Rupert Grint will be taking the stage in It’s Only a Play tonight for the second week of previews. Although, we will have to wait for official reviews until opening night on October 9th, we are seeing comments from lucky audience members already and Rupert looks to be impressing crowds with his portrayal of Frank Finger.

Rupert has also been in the media the last couple of days and we wanted to gather all the lovely interviews for you here to make it a bit easier.

The first article is from Times Square Chronicles where Rupert answers questions about It’s Only a Play, Mojo, his charity work and even some personal fun facts. You can read that here.

The next interview is with Time Out New York which focuses on the Broadway experience and what Rupert thinks about living in New York for such a long time. Read the entire interview here.

Is this your first time in New York for an extended period?
Yeah, it is. I used to come over almost every year for Harry Potter promotional things, one week here and there, but this is the longest I’ve been here. Sometimes I do feel quite far away from home, but it’s a great city, it’s got such energy. I’m really enjoying it.

Lastly, we want to share two new video interviews from the press conference on August 19th. Below, we have coverage from The Broadway Channel and CBS New York also interviewed the impressive cast which you can see here.

It was posted on Instagram by Rupert’s co-star Ron Perlman and shows a sneak peak from Empire Magazine‘s “On Location” section which has a feature on Moonwalkers.

In related news, an interview has popped up which was conducted on the set of Moonwalkers. It was done by the Dutch initiative called Flonki which focuses on child development. This is an interesting interview as we get to see a completely different and personal side to Rupert:

But as mentioned before, Rupert is just about to make his Broadway debut in It’s Only a Play, so let’s all send him the warmest and most encouraging thoughts and let’s hope these next 18 weeks become a roaring success for him.
