“As Harry, Hermione and Ron, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint have grown up on screen, tumbling up like stems from seedlings, transforming from cute kids into captivating actors with the help of a supremely talented cast.
Even if you know how the final showdown goes down, you’ll hold your breath. Two hours fly by. No one wants it to end. But so it goes, and this film is an epic farewell”.
You can read the rest on their site here and the interview just below.
If you have missed the update in our last news. MTV has released a new short video with Rupert and Tom Felton

Rupert Grint : New Interviews, Videos And Reviews July 14th, 2011, 12:16pm–Today we have a few nice Rupert Grint goodies to share with you. Firstly, MTV have published yet another interview with Rupert on the red carpet in New York, in which he talks about the end of the Harry Potter time and comes up with a new plan for the time after Potter. If you were there during the LiveStream you certainly already seen it.
And last video. Website Collider.com has a brend new 11minutes interview with our man. Don’t miss it, Rupert is absolutely adorable in this one.
Now for the transcripted interviews you can read 2 of them on different website. The first one there is more things to read than the second, which is from Teen.Hollywood and then Metro.co.uk.
Finally some cool reviews about Rupert and his performance in Harry Potter. The first one is from The Seatle Times. And how nice that the film’s penultimate moment is a quiet one, as Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) stand alone together outside Hogwarts, finally exhaling; you wish they could take a well-deserved bow.
Then CBC News. Of the three central heroes, I’ve found actor Rupert Grint the most interesting to watch. While fans may not find his Ron as dreamy as Dan Radcliffe’s Harry, his character’s anger and frustration at this chaotic wizard world seems to burn the brightest. Still, in the transformation department, Matthew Lewis nearly steals the show as the cardigan-wearing champion Neville Longbottom. He is the Thomas the Tank Engine of the
Potterverse, who just keeps chug-chug-chugging along, regardless of the stakes.
And finally Times Online. Director David Yates, who also helmed “Part 1,” delivers excitement in a crisp running time of 130 minutes, but strangely, he never gives Radcliffe’s Harry a major confrontation for the viewers to applaud. Grint’s Ron and Watson’s Hermione face a similar problem, since they run
across the screen numerous times but never have a defining action momentthat would delight their fans.
That may be a minor quibble, but Grint and Watson bring so much energy to the narrative that one wishes they had more challenging moments on screen. The two certainly deserved them.
Later we will post our whole coverage with pictures and videos of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows part 2 Premiere in London and NY.
Rupert Grint quotes of the red carpet in New York! July 13th, 2011, 7:40am–
I am sure some of you have already seen Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 by now around the world and are as thrilled as we are 🙂
filmcritic.com attended on the red carpet of the premiere in New York and got the chance to speak with some cast members.
Q: Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy scored a Best Picture Oscar on its final try. Would it matter to you if the Harry Potter franchise managed to do the same?
Rupert Grint: It’s never been something that really mattered to us. This [gesturing at the screaming fans] is a good enough kind of award, just seeing the enthusiasm from our fans. It’s just as pleasing to us as it is to them.
Q: Rupert, do you remember the very first scene you filmed as Ron Weasley?
RG: Oh yeah, I remember it clearly. It actually was the very last scene of the first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. And I remember it being so sudden. One week, I was in school reading the Harry Potter books, and the next week, I’m on a film set. It was just crazy, and such a high for me.
You’ll find the whole article in our press archive here.
Don’t forget to check our latest pic at our gallery of Rupert hitting the streets of New York here.
