Rupert Grint To Appear In Fan Documentary!

RupertNewsIconFebruary 17th, 2015, 3:22pm–Not long ago Tom Felton revealed that he was putting together a documentary about the fans of Harry Potter. There had been some comments that Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe would be a part of this. Today, speaking to Just Jared, Tom revealed the details and that not only Rupert and Daniel, but J.K. Rowling as well, will be talking candidly in interviews that were conducted for the documentary. There is currently no set date, though Tom indicated he hoped it would be in either April or May. We do know, however, that it will be televised on BBC3. When we have more information, we will update you!

In other, maybe not so great news, according to Deadline, Rupert will not be a part of the new Super Clyde pilot. While this isn’t official, Deadline is usually pretty accurate in their reporting.

UPDATE: It has just been revealed that Rupert’s Moonwalkers will be receiving its North American premiere at the SXSW film festival!
The film is scheduled to be screened three times during the festival (and will run 107 minutes) – here’s all the info:

Saturday, March 14 – 9pm – at the Alamo Ritz
Tuesday, March 17 – 2pm – at the Alamo Lamar B
Thursday, March 19 – 10.15pm – at the Sattelite Venue: Marchesa

We will let you know whether Rupert will be attending the world premiere as soon as we can. Stay tuned!

UPDATE #2: We’ve just received word that Rupert will probably not be attending this event. If anything changes though, we will let you know.

Rupert Grint on The Andrew Marr Show!

MojoNewsIcon2November 10th, 2013, 5:52am– This morning, Rupert Grint appeared on The Andrew Marr Show on BBC One. He was interviewed in the beautiful Harold Pinter Theatre where he is currently playing Sweets on stage in Mojo.

Rupert talked about what it’s like to be on stage, calling it “thrilling” – but he also said that he had never thought stage work was something he would do since he’s a nervous person in general (we would just like to add that we’re SO happy Rupert decided to do this!!).
We also find out how he deals with being recognized everywhere as well as what it was like playing Cheetah Chrome in CBGB.
We are working on getting this lovely interview online for all of you to see. You can now watch the interview below:

Rupert Grint: New Interview about CBGB, Tattoos and Twitter!

RupertNewsIconOctober 8th, 2013, 1:36pm– Rupert Grint has done a new interview with Vulture.com where he talks about an array of things. The interview was done over the phone since Rupert is very busy with Mojo rehearsals at the moment.

One of the things a lot of fans are putting on their wish list is to finally see Rupert on twitter. Vulture asks about this and we once again get confirmation that he is indeed NOT on twitter… yet:

Every Twitter feed claiming to be you doesn’t seem like it’s really you. Are they impostors? Are you even on Twitter?
No, I’m not. If you saw one, that would be a fake one, yeah. I don’t know. It’s weird that people pretend to do that, pretend that they’re me. But I’ve never done Twitter. A lot of people have already said that I should give it a go, but I don’t think I’d be very good at it! It’s just not something … I’m not great at any of those things, really. Maybe one day, though.

The rest of the interview is mostly about CBGB and we get a hilarious comment on the (very special) scene where Rupert had to take his pants off:

You wear a dog collar throughout the film. Did you get to keep it?
No. I really wanted to, though. [Laughs.] I kind of got quite attached to the dog collar. Wearing it every day, I felt naked without it.

Not as naked as the scene in which you drop trou!
Oh, right, yeah. Yes. That was quite fun. I didn’t really think about it until I had to do it, but it was kind of quite a tricky process. I think in the end, we needed a sock contraption. [Laughs.] So that kind of worked. That was the first time I had ever done anything like that. Justin Bartha had to do a lot more, actually. He had to get his waxed. So there was a lot of preparation there. Luckily, I don’t have that issue.
