Celebrating our Tenth Anniversary with an Exclusive Interview with Rupert Grint!

Exactly 10 years ago, Ice Cream Man was born to support Rupert Grint and to bring news to his fans. In the past 10 days, we have looked back at the past years, told our staffers’ personal stories and have asked you to vote and share your memories with us.

Today, we are taking a look back at the first half of 2014, and a look forward to what we hope will come in the future. We have also put together a collage of us staff members at work and have put together your poll results.

As an extra special birthday treat, Rupert Grint himself gave us an interview via phone, in which he talks about his thoughts on the fan support, and reveals more about his Moonwalkers character costume, and about his upcoming Broadway show It’s Only A Play!

Anniversary Countdown: Day Ten of Ten Years on Rupert-Grint.us!

Icon 2July 16th, 2014, 0:05am– We have arrived at the day before Rupert-Grint.us‘ Anniversary, and our 10-day Birthday Countdown has arrived in 2013!

This year required mainly online work, but the Ice Cream Man team had real-live staff meetings while supporting Rupert Grint for The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman and Mojo, which became some of our all time favourite memories of working for the site.
Our staffer Malene, who probably knows Rupert better than he does himself and seems to find news before they are even released, shares her personal Rupert history and site-related highlights with us.

Rupert-Grint.us Birthday Countdown: Day Nine!

Icon 3July 15th, 2014, 0:04am– Our 10-day Birthday Countdown for Rupert-Grint.us‘ Anniversary arrives in the year 2012!

During this year, Ice Cream Man joined Rupert Grint during his promotion of Into the White a couple of times and we did our best to bring you as much exclusives as we could. Ice Cream Man also attended various other events, before by the end of the year a new subsite was launched.
Majbritt, who is the biggest cinephile and cine-pro among the staff, talks about her favourite memories of working on Ice Cream Man.

Rupert-Grint.us Birthday Countdown: Day Eight!

Icon 2July 14th, 2014, 0:02am– Welcome back to the eighth day of our 10-day Birthday Countdown for Rupert-Grint.us‘ Anniversary!

2011 was the year in which Rupert filmed his first post-Harry Potter film, Into the White before starting to promote his last Harry Potter movie Deathly Hallows Part 2. The year brought us many amazing exclusives, and two of our subsites were re-launched, better and greater than ever. Staffer Kathy, who is in charge of the Press and Quotes Sections at Ice Cream Man, reveals her experiences both online and live at various events.
