Rupert Grint: Launch of Enemy of Man Web- and Social Sites & First Picture!

EnemyOfManIconSeptember 16th, 2013, 3:43pm– We were worried that we had to wait many months until we’d get the first picture of Rupert Grint in action in Enemy of Man, but fret not, the movie is going all out promoting the film already. Tonight we have the first official poster (featuring Rupert looking ready for battle), the launch of the official web- and social sites as well as the first caption describing the premise of the movie. Exciting stuff!

The official site is called enemyofmanmovie.com and is looking beautiful already. From that site you can go to the their twitter, facebook, instagram, pinterest, vimeo and flickr account. Follow and like all of these accounts so you don’t miss a single thing!

The poster looks very dramatic and promises some very intense acting from all the actors. Besides Rupert, you can see Sean Bean and Charles Dance. The caption reads:

A war hero and the lure of ambition and descent into hell. An adaptation of Macbeth.

Remember that Enemy of Man is scheduled to begin filming in January (right when Rupert’s run in Mojo ends) and we will of course update when more news pops up (they are promising exciting news very soon on their twitter so stay tuned).

Rupert Grint: Promising News about “Enemy of Man”!

OtherMovieNewsIcon2September 9th, 2013, 12:36pm– Finally, we have some good news about what is expected to be Rupert Grint‘s next feature film. Enemy of Man has picked up a distributor and is expected to begin filming in January 2014.
The Hollywood Reporter writes that Kaleidoscope Film Distribution has picked up the rights for worldwide distribution – the film will be directed by Vincent Regan and will star some impressive actors alongside Rupert.

Vincent Regan had this to say about the upcoming production, which is a reworking of the Shakespearean tragedy Macbeth:

Although 400 years old, Shakespeare’s work feels truly contemporary,” Regan said. “An ambitious childless couple; their longing for family replaced by a chilling pursuit of absolute power. Remaining true to its dark heart, we will strip back the dialogue, crank up the action and produce an atmospheric and blood-soaked chiller.

You can read more in the original article here.

Rupert took part in a promo on May 1st of this year where we were lucky enough to get THIS beautiful picture of him where we must presume he’s in full costume as his character Rosse.
We will update when more information becomes available, but this is very promising news about Enemy of Man which Rupert has been attached to star in for a while now.
