Rupert has made the shortlist in several categories in the Broadway.com Audience Choice Award, and if he gets enough votes, he will will become part of the final group of nominees. So let’s vote for him and It’s Only a Play so that he might have a chance of winning.

The first round of voting lets you pick your five favourite in each category. The voting closes at 11:59PM on Thursday, April 30, and the nominees will be announced the following day. Hopefully we will be able to vote for Rupert again when the final nominees are announced.

Rupert and It’s Only a Play are shortlisted in the following categories:

– Favorite Play Revival
– Favorite Featured Actor in a Play
– Favorite Funny Performance
– Favorite Breakthrough Performance (Male)

Please note that many of Rupert’s co-stars in the play are on the lists as well, and they definitely also deserve a vote :) Go HERE to cast your vote.

News has been very slow the last few months, but we do have a couple of news items to mention. Firstly, the Enemy of Man team has made an update after a long period of silence. Unfortunately, it looks like production on the film will not start for a while – we just have to keep waiting and stay patient.
Secondly, Rupert was recently in France to support his brother James while he was testing his new rally car at the Circuit de Faleyras. A few pictures of the handsome brothers were posted online:

UPDATE: Rupert made the list of nominees! Great job everybody. But that means the work is not done – it’s time to vote for Rupert (and It’s Only a Play) again so that he will WIN! Voting will end on May 10 at 11:59 PM, so vote vote vote!

Exactly 10 years ago, Ice Cream Man was born to support Rupert Grint and to bring news to his fans. In the past 10 days, we have looked back at the past years, told our staffers’ personal stories and have asked you to vote and share your memories with us.

Today, we are taking a look back at the first half of 2014, and a look forward to what we hope will come in the future. We have also put together a collage of us staff members at work and have put together your poll results.

As an extra special birthday treat, Rupert Grint himself gave us an interview via phone, in which he talks about his thoughts on the fan support, and reveals more about his Moonwalkers character costume, and about his upcoming Broadway show It’s Only A Play!

Rupert Grint: Enemy of Man Kickstarter Success!

EnemyOfManIconRupert Grint: Enemy of Man Kickstarter Success!April 6th, 2014, 11:03 am– A month ago, the team behind Enemy of Man started a campaign on Kickstarter to raise funds for the pre-production of the feature film adaptation of William Shakespeare‘s Macbeth, which will star Rupert Grint as Rosse.

Today, on the last day of the campaign, the goal of 250.000$ was not only reached, but the number continues to rise, so we can be looking forward to another film soon enough! The film will also star Charles Dance, James McDarcy and Jason Flemyng, and will be directed by Vincent Regan.

Enemy of Man Kickstarter Update feat. Rupert Grint!

EnemyOfManIconEnemy of Man Kickstarter Update Featuring Rupert Grint!April 1st, 2014, 3:35pm– Only 4 days to go until we find out if Rupert Grint will be playing Rosse in Enemy of Man.

Tonight, the people behind the film have given in to the many many requests from Rupert‘s fans and have finally released an interview with the man himself. The interview was filmed during the shoot of the proof of concept short film, Instruments of Darkness. We hear what attracted Rupert to the film and what he thinks of Macbeth compared to other Shakespeare stories:

But we are running out of days quickly and we urge any and all Rupert fans to help get this project kickstarted so we can get a full movie of Rupert speaking Scottish, sword fighting, riding horses and wearing amour. We can’t ask for much else, really.

Rupert Grint: Foosball Renamed Underdogs Released August 27th!

Rupert Grint: Foosball Renamed Underdogs Released August 27th!March 29th, 2014, 4:13pm–Recently independent film company The Weinstein Company picked up the English dubbed version of “Foosball” which Rupert Grint voices the lead character. They have renamed it to Underdogs and will come out on August 27th, 2014 in the US according to many articles including Variety and The Hollywood Reporter. According to Box Office Mojo, the film will have a wide release and AMC theaters already has it listed on their website. Unfortunately they have yet to release a trailer or a poster, but we will keep you updated as soon as we get more information so please stay tuned!

Meanwhile have you been checking out the kickstarter campaign for Enemy of Man? They have added several new items included full body armour, swords, premiere tickets, and even set visits! They are pass 50% of their targeted goal of $250,000 with seven days to go. Even a dollar can help them get there!
