Rupert Grint speaking about Ron Weasley, Comrade and his future!

Rupert Grint speaking about Ron Weasley, Comrade and his future!July 21st, 2011, 4:38am–Well, Harry Potter might be over, but the goodies keep coming and coming. We’ve added lots of great articles, reports, interviews etc. about or with Rupert Grint to our Press Archive the last days. It is definitely worth taking a look at!

First, we have nice quotes from David Yates and Tom Felton about Rupert.
David Yates spoke with the Los Angeles Times and said:

“Rupert Grint, ever since I’ve known him, has probably been the coolest person I’ve ever met in my life. He has a hovercraft [and] an ice cream van. He’s really laid back, but quietly quite smart.”

And Tom Felton replied to the question on how he fancies Rupert asked by todayonline.com:

“Very much so! He’s a dashing gentleman, have you not seen him? He’s very buff! He’s solid, man! Rupert is a unique soul. He’s a very funny guy. But without realising it, actually! I swear most of his comedy comes by accident. But he’s very good at it! And he’s incredibly infectious. People laugh around me all day and I don’t get suckered into it. But when he laughs … that’s it! It’s game over for me. I feel something inside of me turn and I’m like, ‘Oh, no!’”

We couldn’t agree more Tom! 😉

Rupert spoke with Belfast Telegraph about his upcoming film Comrade:

“It was filmed in April, in winter, it was freezing, and we were just on a mountain in this really remote part of Norway. It was quite extreme.”

He also revealed his plans for his future as an actor:

“My future is a bit blurry at the moment. I definitely want to keep acting and finding different roles,”

Along with sheknows.com Rupert looked back on filming Harry Potter for ten years and how Ron Weasley became a huge part of his live and will always remain:

“After 10 years playing the same guy every day, I think you do naturally morph into him. We have become Ronpert which I think will stay with me for a while. I have always felt this close connection to Ron throughout all the films. There will always be a bit of Ron in me for the rest of my life.”

You’ll find the rest of the interview here.

Those are only few of a whole bunch of new articles in our press archive. Take a look here to read all of them. Enjoy!

UPDATE: And another great article just popped up, praising Rupert! Click here to read.

Rupert Grint attends US Premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2!

Rupert Grint attends US Premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2! July 12th, 2011, 5:48am– Only a few hours ago, Rupert Grint graced the red carpet at the US Premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

Rupert was once more the first cast member to arrive and the last to leave, spending a huge amount of time with the fans for autographs, pictures and hugs; and giving interviews.

By the time he had reached us, he was drenched in sweat due to the heat, but happy to answer questions and give us a sample of his Scouse accent, which we will get to enjoy in Comrade, surprising us by saying the F word to do so. Our own pictures and videos will be up soon enough.

In the meantime, you can check out this ‘American Talk 2’ clip:

You can also find the first images from the premiere in our Gallery.

UPDATE: A lot of new HQ pictures are finding their way into our gallery at the moment – take a look here!

Also, our Press Archive is filling up with great tales from around the world. Make sure to keep an eye on all the new articles 🙂

But that’s not all. These days quotes seem to be flying around mentioning Rupert left and right – and of course, we could not be happier about this. Berliner Morgenpost did an interview with Emma Watson, where she mentioned Rupert:

Journalist: … But in return, you three have the chance to stand on a bridge of Hogwarts after all the battles are over and to be caught by the camera in a way that one cannot help getting goose bumps.
Emma: You know what? Rupert and I were allowed to see the film at several screenings in advance. When we talked some days ago we realized that both of us cried at this very point.
Journalist: Rupert and crying?
Emma: Yes, he said, of course, that he got “wet eyes”. Utter nonsense, he cried. Just like me. That was the moment when we knew it’s over now.

Do I get an “aaaaww”? 🙂

Thank you to Melina for doing the translation from German to English.

UPDATE2: We also have three pics of Rupert at the afterparty. You’ll find them in our gallery here.

Rupert Grint: New Interviews from the Red Carpet!

Rupert Grint: New Interviews from the Red Carpet! July 8th, 2011, 6:14am– More interviews with Rupert Grint to promote Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 are being released.
Nine-to-five have published their interview with Rupert, in which he talks about the end of the Harry Potter franchise, his bond with Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, new projects and filming Comrade and plans of coming to Japan again!

How do you feel after the ending of shooting of the movies?
I’m not sure really. It’s just been a really weird year since we finished. Initially I was quite looking forward to freedom, because these films really take out a big chunk of our lives and every year for 10 years has been revolved around these films.
You play around with stuff and to not have that in your life seems like it would be quite an easy thing to move on from, but I’ve found it quite difficult really. I’ve missed it quite a lot and I felt this quite empty feeling.

You can read the entire interview here!

And another interview from the red carpet has been uploaded to youtube by SkyLiving about the much-anticipated kiss with Emma Watson:
