December 23rd, 2011, 2:24PM– As we previously mentioned, Rupert Grint made a surprise appearance on the show “Noel’s Christmas Presents” which aired on Sky1, Sunday December 18 at 6:30PM. The surprise took place in November, when Rupert was at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando to promote the DVD release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

On Sky1′s website, the show “Noel’s Christmas Presents” is described as following: “Noel Edmunds and his team resume gift giving duties, recognising and rewarding the country’s most deserving individuals.” And this time around the special treat was given to the Carter family, who had lost their mother during childbirth in 2009. Rupert shared butterbeers with the family in the Hog’s Head pub, took them to Ollivander’s for wands and talked with them about their favourite parts of the park.

Thanks to SnitchSeeker, you can see the very heart-warming video here:

Also, Rupert’s good friend, and fellow Harry Potter star, Tom Felton shared some pictures on his Twitter profile from The Friends Christmas Party, where he wrote that it would look perfect as this year’s Christmas Card. Besides Tom and Rupert, the pictures include Stavros Flatley – an act most known for their appearances on Britain’s Got Talent.

You can see this one – as well as one more picture that Tom shared with us in the gallery – here!

UPDATE: Bliss Magazine has made a list over “Lads we loved in 2011″ – and to noone’s surprise, Rupert made the list! Here’s what they said about everyone’s favourite ginger:

We’ve always had a bit of a secret crush on the Grint, but watching him get teary at the final Harry Potter premiere made us fall in full blown love with him. He’s basically the reason we’ve been Potter obsessed for the past ten years, so we feel that 2011 is the year to finally confess our love for our fave ginger…WE LOVE YOU RUPERT GRINT!

Aaw… right? :-)

December 15th, 2011, 10:30AM– Rupert Grint makes sure to spread some Christmas joy in the name of charity. Earlier today, Rupert Grint and his friend, Harry Potter co-star, Tom Felton attended The Friends Christmas Party at the children’s hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, UK. They spent the morning with young fans and had pictures taken with them.

Earlier today, Tom Felton wrote the following on his Twitter profile: “Beautiful day in London! May even get to see my special ginger friend x”

The Friends Christmas Party does sound like a lovely and touching event. On the Great Ormon Street Hospital‘s website, it is described like a heart-warming event:

Every child will have the chance to meet Santa, give him their Christmas wish list, and take home special early Christmas treats and a gift.

As always, there will be a very special Christmas party for 1,500 patients and their families. Father Christmas will be joined by helpers and special friends, and there will be games, music, party food, dancing and much more.

Children too sick to attend the party won’t miss out, though, as Santa will visit the children in the hospital so that they know they haven’t been forgotten.
